Perfect step-up from an EDC flashlight
I have to confess- I have a lot of flashlights. Ironically I'm very much not afraid of the dark and will annoy my wife walking around the house without turning lights on sometimes, but while I don't mind the dark when I want to be able to see something in the dark I don't want to be squinting at it and don't want to be hunting for a flashlight forever. It was because of this that I first encountered Wuben's flashlights- a good while ago I backed their Kickstarter for the Knight X-0 flashlight which has been one of my EDC flashlights ever since I got it, and I've since picked up a G-2 keychain flashlight and just received the Kickstarter E-1 MagSafe light. So when I saw that there was a 20% off code for the C3, I figured I wouldn't be disappointed- and I was right. The C3 is a modest bit bigger than what I usually carry around, which is fine- it's still small enough that you can carry it in a pocket fairly easily, but it's large enough that I wouldn't want to carry it all the time under normal circumstances. That extra size though is worth it, since it is BRIGHT. When I first got it, I tested it compared to my X-0 and initially thought that it wasn't much brighter- but when I took them outside and tested them in the dark, the C3 definitely puts out a lot more light. The C3 has a relatively focussed lens- it isn't adjustable, but with the power that the LED has it works well without needing the adjustable focus. One slight thing that I don't like about my X-0 is that if I run the battery down, I'm not going to be able to use it until I recharge it and I was thinking this would be the case with the C3. However, while it is rechargeable, it is quite easy to swap in a fresh battery (assuming you've picked one up and have charged it). It would have been nice to have been able to use standard AA (or AAA) batteries at the cost of brightness in a pinch, but that's definitely a very minor gripe. Not that I expect to be needing to worry about it- with the 2600mAh battery I don't imagine that I'm going to need to recharge it anytime soon, and 18650 batteries aren't too expensive if you do want spares. Like most flashlights these days, it has several different modes you can swap between with the switch- there are 4 brightness levels and a strobe function. It remembers what brightness you last used as well, which is nice. It is a pity it doesn't have a shortcut to the brightest mode like the X-0 does though, but it only takes a second to cycle through the power levels to get to it.

5 Years with almost daily use. Very Good.
Credit where credit is due, this flashlight will do all the necessary tasks and has none of the features you will never need. I actually use this flashlight at work examining liquids. I use its ability to dim to search in light oils and brighten to examine within darker oils, and I'll tell you, I have spent over a hundred bucks on other flashlights in this type of form factor and I'm really very surprised that this flashlight has lasted this long! Charged this flashlight this morning which is why I thought I should write this review. Very happy with it. It's just a really good flashlight.

Incredible flashlight for $25
If you told someone you paid $60 or more for this, they’d believe you. Thing is honestly outstanding - esp for the price AND having a USB C charger AND comes with its own battery. A short word on the battery the first reviewer didnt bother to look into - the REASON why this 18650 is slightly longer than ‘standard’ 18650’s is because its a PCB protected battery. It helps protect the raw cell from over and under discharge. Its a GOOD thing, and YES you can buy another battery just like it if you want a spare. You just need a PCB protected 18650 cell it, with a button top it seems. The overall feel and quality of this has me wondering how this sells for only $25 on sale. I especially like the beveled edge on the front. The belt clip is really stout and not “bendable” with reasonable force. Nor does it just pop off as soon as you apply pressure to it. Its has a charging indicator light opposite the charge port that flashes red/green to give you battery status when in use for a few seconds. The tail cap switch seems very nice too, as well as the included lanyard/wrist strap. Theres really nothing bad to say about it at all. It has 4 brightness settings, the highest of which is really impressive for its size. No zoom or focusing lens which honestly i like. You dont need it with this. The strobe setting its extremely bright, and alternates between a fast and really fast pattern. Its blindingly bright. The SOS function is on a low setting - to preserve runtime i assume. Just note, you dont give the switch a full ‘click’ to switch settings. Just a slight tap will let you travel through the settings. 2 fast taps for strobe, 3 fast taps for SOS. Go from the eco to full brightness just with a tap of switch (not a full click) to cycle through those settings. The rubber cover on the charging port seems to fit nice and snug. Not overly tight like some other things i own. I have no intentions of throwing this in water just to see what happens, but something like rain doesnt seem like it have any effect at all. Everything seems sufficiently sealed up - and it does come with 2 extra o rings in the box. I just got mine earlier today and I honestly feel like i got more than my moneys worth. I wouldn’t hesitate if youre considering it. Not much else you can ask for in my opinion, esp at this price point. Way nicer than my older (and smaller) Fenix model that i probably paid more for. Try looking around for a small flashlight with a USB C charger and youll see what your other choices are. This is easily the most for your money, and I’m guessing the newer version of similar Wuben models considering the nicer design and newer type C charger - which is also included BTW. (The cable, not the brick). Just a quick update - i came back and bought another one cause its simply impossible to find a better light at this price in my opinion. My original is carried in my work backpack everyday as a “if i ever need a flashlight”, flashlight. The second i just bought is going in a molle pouch on my SHTF battle belt along with a gun holster, mag pouches, med kit, pepper spray, knife, ect.. its the perfect size for a covered pistol magazine or tool molle pouch. Lithium cells will retain a charge for over a year, and this flashlight it just so well built. The usb c charger promises available chargers will be around for a long time. I have nothing but good things to say about these. Don’t hesitate in purchasing.

Great flashlight, but instructions unclear
Flashlight itself is great! Love how you can easily toggle through eco, low, medium, high with half presses and usb-C charging is very convenient. One gripe though, the box and all the instructions are all in Japanese, so it took a while to figure out how to swap between settings. I've been using this flashlight for several months now and I still have no idea how to use the strobe and sos functions, though since I don't need those functions, it's nice that I've never accidentally turned them on. This flashlight is very bright on highest setting, about as bright as the Anker flashlight which uses the same 18650 battery, but the bulb gets kinda warm if you leave it on high for longer than a minute or two, so I usually use it on medium. I picked this flashlight up for $30 and for the price, it's very good. It's way brighter than any AA battery powered flashlight. Would totally buy again at this price. If the instructions were in English and the bulb didn't get too hot on high, I would bump it up to 5 stars. update: after using for a few months, the flashlight does not work on brighter settings. cuts out and needs to be turned on again. still works on lower settings. Good while it lasted, but doesn't hold much charge anymore.

Very bright and useful
I bought this light as a Christmas present for my Son who works HVAC and finds himself crawling in dark spaces very often. When it came, I took it out to charge it up for him. It doesn't come with a charger but it does have a USB-C cable. I used the fast charger for my Samsung phone and the light was fully charged in an hour or so. It already had some charge when it arrived. When it was ready to go, I decided to test it out. I clicked the button on the rear of the flashlight and and the LED was dim. I realized it had different light levels so I started to fool with it. Took me a minute to realize that you have to very lightly depress the on/off button to change the light levels. And when I say lightly, I mean lightly. The good thing is that the last light level the flashlight is on when you turn it off stays when you turn it on next. So I turned it on super bright and that's how it came on when my Son opened his Christmas present. He was super impressed with its brightness. I had to give him a quick lesson though to show him how to change her light levels, but he's very happy with it. He likes the fact that it's rechargeable so he doesn't waste time or money buying replacement batteries. He also likes the fact that it's water-resistant for when he has to work outside in the rain. I'll wait a few weeks and ask him how long the rechargeable battery lasts in the flashlight. I hope to update the review then. I liked the light so much, I bought myself one, too. Lol. I don't need it for work but one can always use a good, strong, compact super-bright flashlight at home.

On low it will light the way
The flashlight https://www.amazon.com/dp/B086WJBB7K?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title It is the perfect size for pocket, purse my wife wants one! It has a on indicator led (maybe to indicate battery charge? )that comes on when first turned on then goes out in a few seconds Not the cheapest flash light but it works flawlessly and looks great The flashlight on high the light is bright enough to light up a room Flashlight feels well made & tough enough for every day carry remembers the last setting is good & bright on high I use it on low in the mornings to avoid waking other members of the household looks great & works flawlessly con adds a little more weight Walking Stick Wrist strap https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VRPBS5F/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I use this when walking outside to avoid dropping the cane & to allow the cane to hang from a convent hook or handle when needed as when seated I love the look, feel of the leather, is well made I expect it will last for years The hook & loop straps are long enough for my 1.5” cane con adds a little weight Flashlight mount , holder https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H3KLMLM?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title The mount holds the flashlight securely to the 1 ¼” cane It has shims to adjust for different sizes The mount is twist able to aim the light just how its needed For me its a near perfect setup Con adds a little more weight, If the cane hits the floor hard the mount clicks, rattle a little The only down side is the extra weight added to an already heavy cane I use all three every day The three items on my Cane (Cane 1 ¼” thick, and tapers down to 1” from walkingcaneco(DOT)com) leather hand strap

Good for price
Brightness: Buying flashlights on Amazon is a tough thing to do, because EVERYONE lies about the specs. Either they just flat out lie, 90,000 lumens or some absurd number. Or, the light puts out top brightness for a very short time. There are flashlights claiming 4000 lumens, that cost 3 times this light, but they do so for 2 minutes before stepping down to 750 lumens (Thrunite T2). So practically it's a 750 lumen light. This is a 1200 lumen light that stays 1200 usable lumens. I'll give credit to Wuben for not lying about how bright the flashlight is. It is 1200 lumens at the brightest. I also have a L50, which is very slightly brighter. Durability: I haven't owned C3 for very long, but the L50 has been durable, and I don't expect C3 to be any different. Size: Small and light, slightly smaller than L50. On the downsides, a) Takes a very long time to charge, even if it is USB-C, it does charge on a macbook pro charger though, but takes a few hours to charge no matter what. b) The battery doesn't last very long. I run it on the highest brightness, it dies out in 30-40 minutes. Battery says 2600 mAh. Wish they'd put in a better battery. c) Practically speaking, on a dark night, it'll help you see snakes within 10 feet from you, small animals like a fox 50 feet from you, and 80 feet from you, you can see trees faintly. d) The beam is not totally spread out, also not totally focused. Think a 10 foot diameter, 6-10 feet from you. It is not a spotlight. Spotlights are great for seeing things far away, but they are not good IMO for close up. The small bright circle causes your eyes to adjust, and you numb out to anything > than the small circle in the middle. This is a good light for walks at night with your dogs. Wishlist: 1. I wish it had a double sided clip like the thrunite, so you could clip it to your cap. 2. I wish it had a better battery. Anyway, good light, I paid 26 bucks for it. For the price, I'm happy.

Got this for safety and was very happy with it.
I got this light so cars would see me walking at night and early morning. This thing is BRIGHT!!!! I love that it is rechargeable and you could go further and get replacement batteries if you wanted for continuous use but the one that comes with it works perfectly fine. The quality is there, it feels great in the hand. Cars will notice you for sure.

Incredible value for money
LIKES: Very compact. Tail cap switch is easy to find in the dark. Five brighteness levels and a good spread of light make it a great torch to use not only around the home, but for camping and bushwalking. The build quality is amazing and comparable to flashlights costing several times the price of a Wuben C3. The supplied battery holds charge really well...in fact I have only charged it once since I bought it a month ago (and I use it everyday). Recharging is easy, via USB-C (no need to remove battery to charge it). DISLIKES: I have honestly tried to think of something I dislike, but cannot find anything. To sum up: I also own a Sofirn SP35 2000 Lumen flashlight, which is also an excellent flashlight. However I find myself mostly reaching for the Wuben C3. The compactness, lighter weight, and the tail cap switch make it an easy choice. For 80% of applications I don't require a 2000 lumens flashlight...but the Sofirn is nice during the limited times I do.

Great little torch
Been using this torch for the better part of 6 months on a daily basis and I'm very happy with it. Build quality is good, it's compact, the light is bright and usable indoors and outdoors, and overall I haven't had any problems with it. I have had some niggling issues a couple times where the power button needed to be massaged in order to work -- it feels like if you press the button from an odd angle you can knock it out of alignment such that it doesn't properly actuate when you press down on it (therefore the light doesn't turn on), but this has only happened once or twice over the last 6 months. This torch now lives in my toolkit and if I lost it or broke it, I'd buy another one immediately. It's much stronger than a pen light when I need it, and the low power modes work perfectly in tight areas where I don't need a blinding light.

Amazing torch but 160 degrees is just a lie
I bought this torch as a headlight for my off road mobility scooter, and despite the 160 degree claim it is useless for this, the hot spot is a few degrees, so I had to return it. Fortunately Amazon let me keep the torch, because after 6+ months with it, it is amazing as an EDC. The moon light mode is the best thing ever in a car trying to care for a dog or kid, and it's bright enough for anything. Just not wide enough for a headlight. If they removed the 160 degree claim i'd give 5 stars. My second fave of my dozen plus torches after my Olight i1R Pinwheel Orange keyring torch. Original review: 160 degree claim is utter fraud, this would be lucky to have a 20 degree hotspot, maybe 60 degree total beam. Useless for anything but blinding people.

Solidly built and a useful light output.
This torch has a huge light output made available in a useable manner. Pretty much useless to be able see your light shining on an object a kilometre or more away. This torch has good depth but, more importantly, it has an excellent spread to light up whole areas, not just distant objects. Solidly constructed and small enough to carry in a pocket. Strong clip means it can be attached to clothing to minimise the chance of loss. I really like it.
