Good knock-off replacement for RV cooktop
I have an older RV that was manufactured with an Atwood cooktop. One of the valves failed. I found an Atwood replacement that fit the same cut-out in the countertop. Then I found this one for about half the price. This seems to be a knockoff of the Atwood (or perhaps is made in the same factory, but without the brand name. The only differences are the plastic knobs being different PLUS this one comes with a wind shield/cover (un-necessary for installation inside the RV but perhaps nice for an outdoor installation). The construction and metal gage seems to be as heavy as the old Atwood that original to my RV and so far, it works fine. The "standard" specification for the counter cut-out has changed over the years. The two burner cooktops designed for newer RV's will not fit in the cut-out in older RVs. Amazon only has about 3 options for cooktops that fit the old-style openings. So far, I am happy that I didn't spend $80 extra on the "name brand".

Good product
I bought this for the cabin on my boat, but it was a little too large for my application. However it was so well made and looked so nice I decided not to return it but to keep it for a backup, if our electric goes out for an extended period of time, like often happens here in the hills of Western PA in the winter or in spring time storms.

Good cooking top
Easy installation, very reliable, so I am very pleased. I am reading now the best way to clean it, so any recommendation is appreciated. Thank you

PERFECT for my camper-van.
Almost a perfect fit. Looks great and works great. Only issue was the pan has rounded corners and the top doesn't overlap the pan very much. Needs careful and exact cutout.

Garbage
This stove is garbage. All of the components are misaligned and can't be straightened. The valves don't work properly. The lid is unusable and has no support when open. The wings on the cover flop around. The burner grates come out easily and don't have proper mounts. This stove has absolutely no redeeming qualities.

Nice hot blue flames
Nothing to dislike but, that it doesn't have its own manual ignitor. You need more than 14in of countertop space to sink it in.

Engineering flaw
Looks good and cover is substantial, but the unit has some problems. The major issue is that when the cover is in the down position over the burners it rests on the gas control knobs. If you push hard on the knobs to seat them completely the cover still rests on the knobs and this allows the knobs to be turned and the gas to flow. In the right conditions such as traveling down the road with the LP tank left open there is a chance for gas to escape and cause a fire or explosion if set off by a spark. What I did was to place a small cabinet bumper under the cover so when it is in the down position it is raised up. Another solution is to install shorted knobs. How this unit went to market with such a flaw is a indication of poor engineering and quality control by the company. I called the company to alert them to the issue but was unable to talk to anyone and gave up. Another issue I am having is that I am unable to adjust the gas to anything but a very low flame as it flutters at higher settings. Needless to say I am very dissatisfied with the stove and wish I had installed it while it was still under the return window. No one should have to correct problems that should have been fixed during the design and manufacturing process.

Great in my '95 Roadtrek 210 Popular
Nice! I needed to replace the original stove in my campervan and was having trouble finding one to fit without modifications to my countertop. This was a perfect fit for size. Being older my van has copper tubing for the propane and had to modify that but all went well! Nice steady flame, good variable flame control. I'd buy again!

It fit ok in my 1974 Trillion camper trailer but not a high quality.

Do not buy from this merchant. The product was defective but no option to return. Amazon solved the issue by refund and sending a sticker to return it.
