Origin8 Pro-Grip II Pedal Straps

UPDATE: Just over a year, and they're still great! I've upgraded pedals, to remedy the wear I was experiencing in my initial review. Lovin' em so far. I've had the for a few months. They are starting to wear fast, but that's my fault for not having pedals where I can feed them through the side. Mine have to go under the bottom outer edge of my WellGo pedals, and they hit the ground on sharp turns before my pedal does. Looking into getting new pedals that will accommodate these better. Overall though, well built, ballistic woven nylon is holding up great. Strong velcro straps stay where you put them, and don't require constant adjustment after you have them set. Great straps for a fixie like mine, or a single speed, allowing up and downstroke pedaling. Also aid in quick rear tire skid stops when on a fixie. Highly recommended for these type of bikes.

They are a great tool. If you have a fixed bike, they are not hard to put on and they are very durable.

Make sure you know what kind of pedals they fit. Worked great for me.

Love these. Easier to install then my old PowerStraps. But like PowerStraps, they won't fit all pedals. These need pedals that allow the Velcro straps to pass through the pedal and secure to itself; like, good size holes in the pedal that allow the strap to run parallel to the pedal's spindle / axle. The straps that go through the pedals are 7/8" wide; the main strap is 2" wide. The straps also have secure with Velcro and have a second flap to secure it, so it is very secure. I can't see how they could possibly come undone accidentally. Great for mountain bikes.
