highest swiss quality

The ink doesn't dry up like the gel based chinese junk mostly sold these days. Very lightweight, precise and elegant. The ink refills is solid metal swiss made.

Stay away.

I'm warning to stay away because the body is metal and internals plastic. Cool pen though I just wish they would make internals metal.

Great everyday pen. Very smooth writer, nice even ink flow, no smearing. I’m left handed, so that’s important. Very stylish!,Durable too.

Feels cheap

This is the only Caran I have bought I did not like. Feels like cheap plastic, not "weighty" like others of this configuration. The clicking mechanism is mushy. Even the ink didn't seem to flow as nicely as usual. My $9 Caran D'ashe 888 feels far superior to this one, even though I like how it looks. Disappointed.
