Scratch Out Liquid Car Scratch Remover & One-Step Polishing Compound, 7 oz

I was amazed that this worked. Although it only worked on one specific scratches. But definitely worked on most of the scuffs.

One of the automotive magazines recently reviewed scratch removers and rated this Scratch Out among the best. I very much agree with them. I have used it on-and-off for over ten years and Scratch Out works much better than the other brands I have tried. It's easy to apply to your soft cotton lint-free cloth and easily removes light scratches in paint. It also works extremely well in removing light scratches in plastic taillight lenses. Before using, you must shake the bottle vigorously for at least one full minute, especially if it's been sitting for weeks or months. Again, be sure to shake the bottle well before using. It does have a somewhat strong industrial solvent smell, but that shouldn't be a problem when you use it outdoors. It doesn't smell any stronger than many automotive cleaner car waxes. Of course there are some waxes and scratch removers with no smell at all, but then they might not work as well. This is an excellent product.

Works well on light scratches. Easy to get rid of scratches with soft cloth. You don't need a lot either. Reasonably priced and fast shipping. 4 out of 5 stars for good product. Didn't work on car ding on my door.

I read other reviews and decided to purchase this because they said it worked. I was skeptical. I have a small superficial scratch in my car. I was hopeful this would work. It do not. It does nothing. Do not buy this.

I read a lot of reviews before buying this, but Scratch out really is the go-to product. Someone left a 7 foot scratch down to the metal on my shiny new truck. This made the scratch nearly invisible with maybe six minutes of easy work. Most of that six minutes was just letting the product dry to a haze before buffing it off with a cloth. Easy, cheap, and effective. Update: this product did work well at first, but the effect wears off quickly. After a few days or a single rainstorm the scratch reappears. This is like putting makeup on a scar. It does not fix the problem and does not last.

Had a small child kick his door open while I was backing out. It left a long scratch down the side of my car. His mom who was on the other side of the car told me to buff it out and walked away. Well not having a buffer handy and also angry, I went here and found this product. It WORKS! It took me three applications and a little elbow grease but I am happy to say that the long white scratch on my charcoal car is almost (ALMOST) invisible! Next we are going to try covering up a scratch on my daughter’s car. 100% would but again.

The other day I was unloading some wound garden fencing from the back of my SUV and one of the bundles came unwound and scratched my vehicle from the rear tail light to the front door. It looked horrible. The scratches were very easy to see. I looked online at Amazon and saw this product. I know it isn't made to get out a deep scratch so I ran my fingers over the scratches and could not feel them so I ordered and gave it a shot. Today I went out and washed off the car where the scratches were and dried it per the instructions. I then shook the bottle and applied in circular motions working it hard. To my happiness, most of the scratches are gone. Today is a very cloudy day so a day with sun will show it better, but I could see very little of the scratches. Once I go look again I may have to buff at it some on any that remain. It even got the really bad scratch out of the tail light cover. I doubt this will help on anything deep, but it seemed to work well on the scratches I had and to me they were very noticeable before and almost invisible after. This is a must have product. I will get it again if needed but will try and be more careful next time!

Tenía unos rayones en mi carro los cuales había tratado de reparar con esto producto y no se quitaron pero con Scratch Out los pude quitar de inmediato, obviamente eran rasguños ligeros pero el producto es 100% recomendable

Good for the metal surface. Dsnt work on plastic parts though. Minor light scratches vanish with ita application
