Hidden valley, a plane designer and kidnappers.
The four children are headed to rural Wales with Wills father for a holiday. They are looking forward to a quiet holiday. Of course this doesn't happen. Can they find out what the men are doing in the valley? What part does Mr Perkins play in plot?Another excellent sequel to their first adventure,

drop in standard
Unfortunately this is a drop in standard from a very good series. I find the story a bit rushed and unfortunately Joe has becomereckless even dangerous. He was always up for an adventure but he's become a thrill seeker. When given the many opportunitiesto head for safety and report the matter to the police he constantly puts himself and more importantly his sisters in danger eventhough he's faced with armed men, probably spies. Also he fills the plane's tanks with soil which surely is a serious criminal offence. What would he feel if the men had taken his sisters in the plane and it had then crashed killing everyone. I can't believe he would have been stupid enough to have done that.

All long mystery stories.
I have now read all 3 of the full length books and all 4 of the short stories. I have loved all of them. I believe that we are all young at heart, and i love to read of resourceful children outwitting crooks. I hope you are able to write more soon as they remind me of the joy I derived from the Lone Pine books by Malcolm Savile and the Enid Blyton mystery books. Please give us more as soon as you are able. Happy 2014 to you. Sally

Despite kindle's numerous errors this book is an enjoyable read ...
Despite kindle's numerous errors this book is an enjoyable read for adults looking for a light read and for children. Slightly sexist due to the time period in which it is set and rather reminiscent of Enid Blyton. Worth buying.

More holiday adventures
Take four kids who love solving mysteries, add a hidden valley in Wales that can only be accessed via a hidden tunnel through the mountains, plus, kidnappers, and you have the recipe for a great read.

Very Good Book, but
Really enjoyed this book. But the end I think ends to quickly and these books should have longer and more detailed endings.
