Built well. Accurate.
This unit is built pretty well. It is all metal, and even has a metal clicker tab and a metal knob. It clicks very accurately and does not creep backwards. The included lanyard is handy to keep the unit around your neck while not in use.Unfortunately, I need a clicker where I have little time in between readings to reset to 0000. To get to 0000 with this unit, you need to reposition the unit so that the knorl knob is in your dominant hand. Then you need to crank the dial until four of the same numbers come up. Then you need to crank it past 9999 and stop at 0000. If you accidentally pass up 0000, you need to go around again. Just too time consuming for me. I need to find one with one step reset to zero. I may have to go electronic, because I can't seem to find a mechanical counter.

Great Head Counter for Astronomy Open Houses...
I bought this to keep track of visitors who view through my telescope at the various science fair/open houses/star parties that I attend. I'm bad at estimating, so it will be great to be able to keep track of how many folks get to take a peek through the eyepiece of my 17.5" truss-tube Dobsonian telescope. It will help club secretaries with their minutes regarding our public nights as well... While I know that there are now "apps for that" I frequently use my phone to consult star maps, use my compass app, etc. during observing sessions, and don't want to be having to flip back and forth between apps, this gives me a way of getting a temporary headcount, and then I can enter the correct number into the App after the event is over and in the logbook.

Good Times Saves
I keep track of my daughter’s goalie (youth lacrosse practice/games) saves. As motivation for my daughter she knew I was counting with it and after her game she asked how many saves she made. I told her 15 saves were made. To bad I didn’t have this counter last week, I know she made more saves than that. Lol. The point is, I had zero problems using this device and it motivates my daughter.

Seems durable and reliable
Well made little device. Counts without fail. Has a metal rewind/reset knob, not plastic like others, seems durable. Includes a lanyard. I wear it around the neck to count arrows when practicing archery. Very pleased with it.

Good for knitting; number sometimes sticks
I bought this to keep track of my rows while knitting. It works well for that purpose. My only complaint is that the number sometimes sticks, and I have to click it multiple times in order to get it to the right one.

Works well, fun to use
Only had it about a month, but it's been working great so far. Sometimes I use it to keep track of annoying behavior that my kids do :) and the clicks seem to help them pay a little more attention to what they're doing and lessesn that behavior. And if I leave it around, they will use it because truthfully, it's just fun to click.

Great product!
Great product. Works well, fits comfortably in your hand. We use it to count trick-or-treaters (711 this year!) and it's very handy. Seller got it to us quickly and in good shape.
