I have the dual closer system on my storm door but only need to replace the bottom one (heavy duty). Is this available separately?

Hi Betsy, Yes! You can get just the Touch 'n Hold Smooth Single Kit and it will replace that closer. The Dual Kit is actually 2 standard duty closers that work in conjunction as a heavy duty system. So the Single Kit, ASIN B00R3HJ0CC , is an exact replacement for this part.

Would this system work for a Pella full glass door? My current closer slams shut and it is highly annoying. I e tried adjusting and nothing works.

Where along the 90 degree closing arc do these begin to take effect? Our door closes at full speed for too long, hits us in the butt, then closes fine

Thanks for your question! It takes ~20-30 degrees of the closing cycle for the smooth closing to start. You can slow down your Touch n hold by tightening the speed adjustment screw at the end of the cylinder.
