At the Crest of the Tidal Wave: A Forecast for the Great Bear Market

Another great work by stellar social science researcher Bob Prechter. This book presents his forecast for the ending of the 1982-2000 secular bull market and the coming secular bear market that began in early 2000 with the " Tech Wreck" also known as the "TMT Meltdown." At this point, my reason for buying the book was for historical reasons and the hope of gaining further insight into the present market juncture, which presents the possibility of another significant market decline possibly followed by the birth of a new secular bull market, as per Harry Dent. I also wanted to strengthen my command of market action during the 1980's and 1990's and to see how his forecast compared with subsequent events.Perchter's application of Elliot Wave Theory and Fibonacci Analysis is the one sensible approach to stock market analysis and forecasting as compared to alternatives, as detailed in his 800 page tome " The Socionomic Theory of Finance" (STF).

C'est une approche excellente. De plus il semble que les conclusions de cette étude sont en cours de réalisation. Je recommande cet ouvrage.

NOt a fan reader of economics, but this book made it simple to understand. Although I bought this book while reading another book about finance, I wish I had read this book before. Very insightful.
