Calculus for the Life Sciences

I used the text book to study and to learn the material because my teacher was little help. Book was really effective study tool

This is a good book. The examples skip vital steps that make it time consuming to figure out. Vendor sold it a a great savings and delivery was super fast.

The main reason I purchased this book was to get access to MyMathLab however the code was faulty and did not work. The textbook itself is in great condition but I was really disappointed and upset with the code. However after talking with customer support, they were very efficient in working with the situation at hand. Thanks guys!

renting makes this book so much cheaper and it looks like a new one.

I'd give this 5 stars, but I hate calculus. Otherwise, a superb decision over buying books on campus.

The book itself is great. But don't buy the loose-leaf. I recommend getting the hardback (used to save money). The paper that this is printed on is so flimsy, its literally see-through. I'm so nervous about tearing it. Also, they didn't do any additional formatting to make it binder-friendly. Simply not worth it. The main thing you're paying for is the online math material, which doesn't include an easily accessible online version of the textbook. If you want that, you have to purchase it separately.

Nice book for those who are not maths focused. Covers the basics nicely.Can be picked up even if you need to know Calculus for non-biology related subjects - business, economics.Photographs are a little distracting.
