We have been buying Equal Exchange coffee for awhile. We've tried both the beans and the ground and have found little difference in taste. Our local natural grocery store sells this as well, but it is cheaper through Amazon and of course we love having it delivered monthly through Subscribe and Save. We prefer to buy organic coffee because pesticides can become magnified in the drying process. So, we try to get the best quality we can for the best available price. We enjoy the Equal Exchange Breakfast Blend because it is mellow and not bitter, it is strong but not acidic, and we can enjoy it iced or hot. We typically brew an entire pot and drink it over the course of a couple of hours. We have found the quality and flavor to be consistent from one batch to the next. Though we often try other brands, this is a part of our regular monthly order.

Breakfast blend is really good. It's smooth with no bitterness. I would give it 5 stars but only reason I gave 4 was because this coffee gives me that hollow feel in the stomach after drinking, kind of like false hunger. I'm guessing it means it's a little acidic. I probably wouldn't buy it again because of this but if you aren't sensitive to that type of things it's great.

I've been drinking A LOT of coffee since starting Keto - not so much that I let it keep me awake (I don't have coffee after 12 noon usually or caffeine) but enough so that I got picky about my coffee because I drink it black in the AM. I wanted a coffee that was clean, pesticide free, tasted good black, was organic and was not too expensive. This coffee does the trick...it's all of the above and I'm very happy with it. I am not a huge fan of coffee black but I do it while Intermittent fasting and this stuff tastes great without my usual half and half and organic stevia. That's the test - if you can drink coffee black with no sweetener added and still say it tastes great? Then it's a GREAT coffee!

EXCELLENT Organic coffee. I recently switched our organic coffee brand to Equal Exchange and LOVE that I did. They are highly ranked in the organic coffee reviews for doing all things RIGHT from start to finish. Our old brand was being sold by sellers that were not doing right by the brand so it was time to switch. I wish I had done so earlier. Equal Exchange Coffee ALWAYS tastes great, it is never bitter and makes and excellent cup of coffee EVERY time. This company cares about their coffee bean sourcing and quality and it shows in the finished product. I highly recommend Equal Exchange Coffee to anyone that wants an excellent coffee free from the typical laundry list of pesticides and other toxins found in traditional coffee. We have bought and consumed over 12 bags of Equal Exchange and will continue to buy more each month. Thank you for making a great ORGANIC coffee!

This coffee is exactly what I was looking for - a tasty, Fair Trade cup of coffee for a decent price delivered to my door quickly. The coffee itself is delicious. Rich and smooth. I'm drinking a different, less tasty coffee this morning and I have to admit it's kind of a bummer in comparison. The most exciting part for me is that I can get this coffee in 2 days, which will mean fewer trips the "good" grocery store that's a little too far away for my taste. In my immediate neighborhood, my coffee options basic corporate brands the dollar(ish) store or a $14 bag from a local roaster. This is a great, happy medium and I will definitely be buying more.

Update: Ok. So I was a bit harsh with the “crap coffee” review because I was (still am) frustrated for not receiving what I ordered (I had to order last minute because my subscription shipment was already 2 weeks late. Amazon posted it would be received the next day (12/24), and is now saying it won’t be shipped til January 7th). We ran out of the good stuff yesterday (12/26) so we had to settle for using the pre-ground breakfast blend that was sent. Full disclosure: it’s decent; like you went to a diner and got a “good” cup of coffee there. It’s not my whole bean favorite blend (Mind, Body, Soul), so the fresher taste isn’t there, but decent, meeting the need-coffee-addiction …for now.
