Boma Jewelry Sterling Silver Branch Necklace, 18 Inches

Whether Boma meant to do it or not, this beautiful, sturdy necklace is my *go to* for the Silver Branch - that tree limb that grants passageway for the living into, and out of, the Irish Otherworld. For me, it's a faith symbol. It's also a nod to ancestors, and a symbol of respect for the other side / land of the dead. It's drop-dead gorgeous out of the box too (pardon the pun)! And this is no wimpy chain. While still lovely, it's strong and impressive. Look, Boma is a minority and woman run business, and I feel like they really *get* and *see* the intersections between faiths when they create gorgeous pieces like this Silver Branch. There's no need to go anywhere else if you're a Wiccan, or want to respect your ancestors, or just have a need for a shining, meaningful piece like this in your life. Heck. Who doesn't deserve a little smidge of the Tree of Life for themselves? *And* its quality will be obvious as soon as you see it / pick it up. I mean, *immediately*. Beautiful stuff, and the right message, on a lot of levels.

I lost my Blue Nile necklace that looks really similar to this one and was so sad. I was hoping to find another one, but Blue Nile discontinued selling their silver branch necklace. Well, I stumbled upon this one on Amazon and am so glad I found it. I’ve had it for a month and it’s just as beautiful and well made as the name brand version. Very pleased with this necklace and would recommend as a gift for a loved one!

The charm is so cute, chain is a little dainty for me but I wear it all the time.

So I wasn’t expecting a lot out of this. I just really wanted a necklace that remotely resembled nature and all silver. I was thinking it might be too bulky for me, or it might be lackluster/brushed silver looking. I was so wrong, it practically glows when you open it. It isn’t 2D either, it actually curves at all angles like a real branch. The pendant length is about 1 inch and the chain has 3 settings. I don’t always advocate for this brand because I’ve had a lot that tarnishes like crazy by them, I’m just praying that isn’t the case here, because this is so pretty. 10/10

It's simple, and classic yet unique. I absolutely love this necklace and wear it very often. It has small 3 rings at different lengths to choose where you want the necklace to fall.

My one word for this year is Abide and I have been focusing on John 15:4-5 where Jesus reminds us to Abide in Him. This beautiful necklace reminds me that He is the vine and we are the branches. And our job is to abide in Him. The necklace is lovely and I appreciate that it has its own chain.
