The 3M Full Face piece Reusable Respirator 6000 Series helps provide protection against certain airborne contaminants. Review: Best Mask I have owned. - I love my mask. The replacement parts seem to be outrageously priced though but I haven't gotten any yet I haven't needed them knock on wood. This mask is great, doesn't fog at all, visibility is like it's not even there. Breathing is effortless. Cleaning it is easy. The straps are easy to use and don't pull your hair when you tighten them. I absolutely could not manage to do my job without it.

**Q: Would this work over glasses with a light on them? (Loupes)**
A: The issue with regular eyeglasses are the arms that extend back behind the ears. They prevent a seal for the mask. 3M makes an accessory to hold eyeglasses that allow for a full face seal. Whether or not they would allow enough room for glasses with a light is a questions better asked to 3M directly.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Much better than half face respirator for extra dusty job

I purchased this item for a DIY mineral wool insulation removal. The insulation was very old with fine particulates. The first day of removal I was using my 3M half mask respirator and I didn’t have a Tyvek cover suit so I must have gotten some contamination. Some particulate got in my chest and I was hacking for four days after. I said let’s not repeat that. So after doing my research I decided to get this one and a couple of those white tyvek cover suits. The mask works well. There is no fogging and it is reasonably comfortable. It is also easy to get a good seal. I have not had any issues with chest irritation since using it. I wipe the mask thoroughly when I am done for the day. You can get expensive wipes from 3M or less expensive generic brands for wiping but I just use leftover baby water wipes which are working fine. Some of the mineral wool dust gets trapped under the edges of the extra plastic eye protector so if you need that extra protector, plan on peeling it off to get a thorough cleaning. There is also an area at the air exhaust port that is difficult to clean. I wipe it as well as I can but a moist pipe cleaner would be a good tool to remove dust from that area. I am a medium size woman so I got the size medium mask and it fits well. I also got the medium size Tyvek suit which fits perfectly into the gasket of the mask.
