For glossy shinny cooked rice that holds a shape when cooked do not rinse the starch ( it will be different if you rinse it ) - My Photo Recipe - Add together in the pot - 1 c rice add into a pot with 2 1/4 c best with quality bulion in the water or broth or butter Bring to a boil then cover turn flame to the lowest about 18 - 25 min - turn off flame with cover on let set 10 min - when done the rice looks glossy shinny - see my pic - ( not fluffy ) - the rice will hold a shape - try a cookie cutter oil it first - mound onto your plate over food - very delicious I could eat this all day long - uncooked, the rice looks short, opaque white, short grain like Italian Risotto Rice

Grilled a small salmon cross-cut with this as a side dish after adding fresh lemon juice and spices in the rice. Delicious mouth feel and it sopped up the salmon/butter juices without my help. Tried it in a rice bowl with lots of refrigerator leftovers added. Now I wish I had more leftovers to add to this rice.

Bugs!!! A few months after purchasing, we were cooking a nice dinner and there are bugs in the rice. Very disappointed.

I buy this rice on a regular basis and use it often in many of my recipies. It has become a staple in my household. Always nice and fluffy whether I serve it for breakfast or sometimes a dessert paired with fresh mango slices on the side. I can always use this rice with confidence.
