Excellent replacement part for my EZGO TXT 2014 Golf Cart
I didn't know how bad the part on my cart was until I replaced it with this one! this is greased up and smooth. It was easy to replace and well worth it.

Easy to Install
We bought a rebuilt 2019 TXT and the steering felt loose. This part was easy to install - the original part had zero grease left. This greatly cut down on the rattle / play in the steering

EZ Go has lots of size choices.
This item worked great for our golf cart. We have a 2005 Bato which we couldn't find original parts for. EZ Go parts were the closest in size to use

Excessive Play
There is entirely too much slop in the upper yoke and slip joint. Altogether, you get 5 degrees of play in the steering wheel, which doesn't sound like much until you're driving along and you can basically jiggle the steering wheel without changing the steering angle. Also the slip joint splines are not smooth nor are they lubricated, so you occasionally "hang" the shaft when under torsion, getting a bumping feel in the steering column. Frankly, you might be better off reworking your existing shaft.
