At first, I tried this on with my longish hair down as I was in a rush and this strap extender got a little caught up in it (Note: I found later I could still have my hair down and use this strap, no problem).I then tied my hair back using a scrunchie, placed the mask loops into the strap extender and pulled the whole thing down over my head at once like a lanyard and it was in place in seconds, the strap extender perched comfortably on top of the scrunchie/bobble at the back and this arrangement works brilliantly for me. The mask is on snugly and can be raised or lowered throughout the day in a pinch. Once on, the huge amount of time I used to spend fiddling with my mask loops, ears, and hair that had got caught up in the mask loops became a thing of the past. Once I had this method of just pulling it on like a lanyard I found I can easily make it work with my hair down. It keeps my long hair in place down one side too - result!I had to just try a few combinations of ways to wear this to suit my style and head shape. Easy peasy. Now, once fitted, it is something I completely forget about whilst wearing it. And since I often wear a mask throughout the day this gives me the lanyard options with zero fiddling. When I need to remove it I pinch the mask at the front and remove the whole thing like a lanyard too. Best of everything. Win-win.

Perfect to stop my mask hurting my ears, I sometimes wear it on my neck so avoiding my ears altogether like pic 4, or just to extend the mask so fits me better making it more comfortable, they can be re-used, easy to wash and dry. I am back to buy my third packet as I have been giving them out to friends and coworkers as they noticed me using them and said what a good idea. I always use one now when I wear a mask, wouldn’t be without them.

It's alright, my main issue I have is that it's a bit of a struggle to get it off the back of my head, and it reminds me of headphones getting tangled in my pockets because my mask straps get wrapped in a big mess. Never really have this issue with a silicone one, but it's a lot smaller and less slightly than a silicone one.So I guess depending on the scenario, my issue is either a positive or a negative. Trust me, it's not coming off your face easy, so you can go to the gym, run around, and you'll be solid. But come to take it off and you'll have a bit of fun.

I found them difficult to fit. I bought them as I ware hearing aids and was hoping they would not touch the around the ears.

Hi the extender was very useful with a FPPP2 mask which is really tight. I used it below my ears and it was really comfortable - survived a 5 hour train trip no trouble. It also meant the FPPP2 air seal was much more effective. The extender stayed in place even when I pulled the mask down under my chin when I didn't need it.
