I needed something fun for work on New Years Eve this year and I decided on this. Charged it up using included USB cable, and tested it out. Very impressed, the colors are bright, You can choose just one color or have the tie cycle through all colors and effects. have fun.Follow up: I would like to add a couple of things now that I have worn the tie for a couple of hours. The Charge on the tie is limited to about 2.5 hours depending on what cycle you have it on. solid colors use less power than one with movement. Im glade I brought the cable to give it a charge. Everyone loved the tie, a friend went on amazon and bought one right then, Im very happy with this purchase.

My son and his friend went to homecoming this past weekend, and I was able to pull together a great look for him - and the young lady he went with for sophomore year homecoming. They both enjoy science and space, and have been friends since sixth grade. I got the light up tie for him, and then I took a battery operated string of fairy lights to the florist to wind into her corsage. They both LOVED it, and people who saw them at the dance were like, "Of COURSE you guys light up!"But the tie is REALLY bright in the dark. Took a little bit of work to get the zipper to unzip. I'm not a particular fan of white ties against white shirts, but with the royal blue vest he wore to match her cobalt dress, I thought it was a good look - especially since I knew my son would be turning the lights on once the lights were out at the dance.Kids were coming up to him asking him to run it through the flashy lights mode, but be warned - that should come with a seizure warning if you turn the fast flashy mode on in a dark room. For the most part, he kept it on the solid blue color, and the charge lasted all night.

Does the trick. Not bright enough for a stage performance, but plenty good enough for a party. Also - it had some creases occur during shipping which I tried to get out with steam - BAD IDEA. Believe them when they say to keep it under 50 C! It warped a little, then continued to warp over the next day. I ruined it. I am really not sure how to get creases out that occur during shipping. Definitely nothing over 50 C for sure! (if you can't hold your hand in it then it is too hot) Can't blame them for what I did, so I'll blame Bush.

Perfect for a jazz night concert. Everyone loved it. So great that you just plug it in to recharge through a usb.The multi function lights are great for multiple options while the plain white tie is a solid choice for dressing up a black shirt. The zippered neck makes it easy for a kid to put it on and off.

Never knew these existed. I always though those led outfits are by DIYers. This is a nice clean looking tie but turns flashy when enabled. I’ll be wearing it mostly for Halloween and new year. And maybe some odd party at friends place. One minor grip I have is that the tie is very white and easy to get dirty. I don’t know how to clean it. Better instructions would be nice.Battery life seems to be great. My kid wore it for over 3 hours and it was still going

This tie is "okay"... serves its purpose. The pro is that it is nice enough to pass as a regular tie (something other light up ties don't seem to do). The con is that it's not nearly as vibrant as the picture. It looks more like a cat scratched it up and it glows where the scratches are, as opposed to in the picture where the whole tie illuminates.

This is a simple and easy to use accessory for your bling event. I used it in conjunction with a few other led items and it added to costume to make a fun effect. Easy to use. The rechargeable battery lasted over 2 hours for me, without any sign of dimming. The controller has several modes including solid constant colors and rotating color mores.I am pleased with the surprising quality for a low price.

Got this item and plugged it in to charge it. (It arrived dead.) The lights didn’t come on as described until I plugged it in a second time. Charged it exactly as instructed (It’s lovely!) but button cycles through colors w/o an OFF position. Literature says they turn off. So it couldn’t be turned off at all. When I timed it, my promised 3.5hours of charge only lasted less than 2. Will exchange it and try one more time.
