I had a wheel liner that a local "body shop" installed improperly after a repair and they didn't mount it properly and ended up breaking at one point. Not wanting to spend a lot of money I found this to be a good solution. It wasn't until I went to install it that I realized how bad a job the body shop had done, it wasn't in attached in several spots which led to the failure. In the case of the RX, this liner is integral into holding on the side of the bumper. Installation wasn't necessarily easy, so make sure you are in a good mood when you start. I don't place any of my frustration on the part, there are a lot of connection points and you have to work to get it lined up perfectly. I worked from back to front. I will say this, plan on having extra clips - you will need them. Also, the lower splash guard on the factory liner is riveted on, so either plan on drilling them out or using an angle grinder. I just used some clips to put it back on this new one. I had bought an inexpensive so of miscellaneous Toyota clips on Amazon for another application so I had numerous clips to choose from (otherwise this wouldn't have gone as well). When you take it out of the box you will be under the impression that it won't fit. It will, it is just going to take some time. The riveted splashguard was the unexpected pain. Get the old one off and attached to this before you start the installation and you will be fine.

It's a lot thinner than the original but it does fit the opening, just don't run over anything like I did and ruined mine within a week of installing it.

Everything fit nicely and the material seems to be nice quality
