New Republic Cotton 3 Pack Face Masks, Black

These are great face masks! I bought one package for my Son in returning to school & he liked them so much I purchased a 2nd package. He likes that they are the most breathable masks he’s worn since the virus has hit. The mask feels comfortable on his face. The loops aren’t too tight or too loose & the material is very soft. I wash them on cold regular cycle in a mesh bag (the 1st one I didn’t & it picked up lint) & hang to dry & they wash wonderfully. I hope my pictures give you an idea of the quality of the mask as well as the material. 3 masks for an awesome price I’d like to thank New Republic in making a difference. I highly recommend!!

I ordered these on May thirteenth and received them May twenty-second, but I knew it would take a few days when I placed the order. I also paid shipping charges, which were quite reasonable, as these masks weren't being sold via fulfilled by Amazon at the time of my purchase. I am very happy with these masks and wouldn't hesitate to buy them again. In fact, although I do like to purchase masks from various places and switch them around, these are the softest I have found so far, and they fold up to the most compact size for taking with you as compared to other ones that I have. Also, when I opt to hand wash and then hang these up to dry, they dry quicker in this manner than any of the other masks that I use. There is no nose wire, but I'm just as happy without one, as I'm thinking the thing could probably just bend and finally break at some point anyway. The mask fits me well and is very comfortable. The masks weren't individually wrapped, but they were in a thin plastic bag like thing that one could easily tape down to save the ones they were not using. Also of note, and to be appreciated, was the fact that the seller/manufacturer was out there answering customer/prospective customer questions. That was a nice touch, and the information provided was very helpful.

I bought these for my husband to use for work. I am more impressed with them than he is. They are a little small for him, in that they just don't feel quite big enough, and kind of hurt his ears. Myself, on the other hand, they fit me quite well. So I guess take that into account, it might be that they fit a women or a man with a more narrow face better. They are very soft, and seem well made. They wash up nicely. The fabric is on the thinner side of medium weight. Not thin, just thinner. Are they worth the price? Well, so many of the masks that are being sold are over priced, and I like that these were from within the U.S. and were delivered very quickly. I think they are worth the price. Overall, I would recommend them for a basic mask. (Not for being in intense situations where you would need very strong protection. But great for everyday use.)

The masks I received are a little small. When I put them on they are stretched out to their max and pull on my ears really hard. I have not tried to wear them for very long this way, instead I modified them so that it skips the ears entirely by using some other elastic bands I had. If you need smaller masks, these would work fine and be completely comfortable. The straps are soft and don't seem to irritate the ears as much. As for the face covering, it's kind of thin, which allows for easier breathing, but I'm curious as to just how much stuff it's actually stopping. If they had more elasticity in the ear loops, these would be extremely comfortable and probably an overall 4 star for health, safety, and comfort.

Although these took awhile getting here due to a snafu in the postal service, these finally arrived. Nicely packaged in sealed packaging. At three per pack, that's $4.00 each. The fit is perfect. I'm a grown man, 6ft 190 lbs. Wearing these, glasses won't fog up. You can still breathe. And they are washable. Although I wouldn't dare wear these if a real chemical or biological agent were present, but for the environment we are living in, and the prices the war profiteers are charging, and knowing with a background in Biologic & Chemical Warfare, the paper surgical masks everyone is selling, are ripping people off or better stated (War Profiteering) that I might add are being made in CHINA, and are no better than these in terms of protection. Especially if you follow the social distancing rules. These are a fantastic buy. I would encourage people that are paying attention to what is going on in the world to purchase these. And wear these every time you go out. And follow the 6 foot rule. Also, asap get gloves as well. 5 stars from me. A value and a bargain. Honest sellers.

Two layers, soft cotton, doesn't hurt ears and delivered in 1 day. I'm a teacher who has been working long days outside in the heat for drive-thru events (graduation, textbook return, yearbook pick-up, etc.) where masks are essential. I'd been wearing non-surgical paper masks and they were hot, itchy, irritated my face/ears, and slipped around so I was constantly adjusting with my hands. So glad these re-usable masks were available when I looked for an alternative. What a difference. New Republic cotton masks hugged my face around the edges without slipping, but not too tight - totally soft and comfortable. Mouth covering fits loose and allowed me to breathe freely and the cotton fabric doesn't trap heat. Stitching/construction is quality as well. Would fit someone with a smaller or larger face easily. So happy I ordered these and love that they are made/shipped from L.A. CA. - not because I'm afraid of imports, but because I like supporting our state. Too small for adults, contains only one layer. No nose clip, will fog up glasses.

These are excellent quality masks sewn from good quality, stretchable fabric that is soft and washable. The size is a little larger than Korean or Japanese mask of similar style. The price is a little high, but justified by the quality. Since these are made in USA the supply should be reliable, so I am likely to purchase again as I only bout 3 packs to test and probably need again when these are worn-out . One technical point verses Asian masks is these do NOT have internal pocket for filter paper, but are large enough to fit over pleated surgical masks so I'm using that way. Some other made in USA mask I recently bought for even a higher price were not as good, the material and workmanship inferior to Chinese, but these masks are very good so I can recommend them. Made local is a plus.
