Wonderful tarot book! Very easy to follow, interesting, and inexpensive. I highly recommend this book for anyone. I had even shared it with a long time, highly experienced tarot reader. She said that it was an excellent choice and very well written. Also, shipping was very quick!

I recently started getting into Tarot again and this has become my go to guidebook for the simple layouts and clearly written card interpretations. The "introduction to Tarot" field is crowded with contenders and I own several other books on this subject, including a couple with bright illustrations, but this simple guidebook is my favorite one of all and the one I keep going to again and again. I do recommend getting it in paperback form because you'll be flipping through it a lot. Get this book if you have a Rider-Waite deck - it's all you need starting out, and you won't be disappointed.

I just finished the book and i have to say i learned so much about tarot and myself through the cards! I am just getting started on my journey with Tarot and i know this will always be a book that i remember and will hold dear to my heart. I will be going back and referencing this book. I loved it. I was a easy enough read but very deep and stimulating.

This was a great book I loved it so much! It helped me alot getting started! Could have went into more detail about how to connect the cards in a spread, but it's ok! I would have gave it 5 stars if she would have explained connecting the cards! Other then that it's a great beginners book. I read the whole book at once, couldn't put it down very interesting IMO. For people who want to find a good starting place and know a little bit about tarot before buying a deck or even if u just want to freshen up ur skills, this book is for u! And the price was great!

Lisa Chamberlain's Tarot for begginers starts by explaining what Tarot is and gives a brief history of this divination practice. It gives an explanation of each card (which I found more useful than the actual guide my cards brought) of the major and minor arcana, as well as, their meaning in reverse, and simple card spreads. In conclusion, is a great guide to begin your Tarot journey.

Goes over all the minor and major arance in some detail. Explains how to seat up and read three and six card spreads ect. The font is a nice standard size. The paper is a nice thickness. The cover artwork is beautiful as always. I would recommend this for any beginner just starting out or Vaterns alike.

I've been interested in Tarot for a long time but had no idea where to start. This book is a perfect jumping off point. Does a great job in introducing you to the concepts and provides a basic understanding if the various cards. I love that the author preaches intuition over ridgid meanings of the cards and that it takes time and practice to get a feel for reading Tarot. Definitely recommend to any looking for a startin point into Tarot.
