SO much better than my old wrist brace!
I purchased this product because I have carpel tunnel in both wrists. My doctor has brought up surgery if I don't start wearing braces most of the time. I had an existing brace for my right wrist and needed one for my left. This brace is SO much more comfortable then the old one I have. I couldn't do anything with my old brace. I had to take it off to to anything. This one is thinner, but still an awesome quality. I have much more flexible range of motion, which means I can pretty much keep it on and do most activities. I received this product discounted and was so happy with my purchase that I could no longer wear the old one on my right wrist (knowing how awesome and comfortable my left wrist felt) and purchased another brace, at the full cost they had listed the next day!

highly recommend, great price for great product. would buy again!
This is one of the best wrist support braces I've ever used - thank you for making a smaller sized brace as it is harder for me to find braces that are my size AND left-handed in store. The five adjustable straps allow for better support and comfort levels throughout the day which shockingly stay in place. I've had issues in past where the hard plastic support piece inside the brace does more harm than good to my wrist but I don't experience that with this brace. The only thing I think could be improved with the product is to allow for a little more space between the second strap (the one hugging the bottom of the thumb) it can hurt after a while if strapped too tightly, however I'm able to hold this strap backwards if it's bothering me

comfortable support with strong velcro closure system
It arrived within a few days and by the time I started using it, the worst pain in my wrist/hand was already over. I started using it to help the healing and it provides some truly comfortable support. I bought large size and it still fits, the front velcro is maybe a bit tight. But then I seem to have a narrow wrist with big hands - always need the biggest holes in bowling balls just to get my fingers in ;-) Talking of the velcro, this is tough. I use it on my right hand and need to loosen it with my weaker left. Man, getting that thing open is one tough job. I don't think elderly people would be able to do it. Anyway, I can manage, would recommend it to friends and buy it again.

Getting some relief, but...
It is a little early to review these wrist supports, but I am getting NAGS from Amazon and from the Vendor. People with carpal tunnel like me use these to avoid a surgery that may have an iffy outcome, incapacitate you for 12 weeks and then leave you unable to use your hands when trying to life heavy objects. When sleeping, Carpal tunnel sufferers are often painfully awakened with their hands "asleep" and tingling. These wrist supports are designed to prevent this. They have a spline that prevents the wrist from bending and aggravating the carpal tunnel. OK, so far so good. The Calibre QT wrist supports are not very expensive when compared with some of the (overpriced) brand names and they had some good reviews here on Amazon. In their description they had a sizing chart which I used to order both left and right medium supports. Well that didn't come close to being accurate. I had to send both back and get size Large. Their chart takes one measurement, at the wrist. They should take another measurement at the top of the support since for me the straps were way too short there.OK, I got the large Wrist Supports. I have used them three nights so far and they need to be tweaked to be usable. After the first nights use both hands were chaffed and cut from the velcro straps. For me, the fabric does not wrap completely around my forearm so there is a gap covered by the straps. The velcro straps are very thin with hard edges. This is especially painful between the thumb and index finger where one of the straps goes. Not wanting to give up (I was getting some wrist relief), I took an old pair of thin socks, cut off the toe for my fingers plus a cutout for my thumb and wore one on each arm before putting on the wrist supports. Pretty dorky but this stopped the chaffing of exposed skin on my forearm and hand. I am still trying to get the right tightness adjustment since it is easy to get it too tight and not realize I have cut off some circulation until the middle of the night. But that is not the fault of the Wrist Supports. The jury is still out on whether these will work for me. I realize they are inexpensive so if the Vendor reads this, I would suggest that they charge a little more and use better straps and be more generous with the fabric to make their product better.

3 Strikes You're Out.
1) The sizing.I have large hands - for a woman. My wrist measurement of 8 1/4" would have officially been within, but near the top of the range for a Medium. So from experience with other supports I ordered the Large. It was too small around both my hand and my wrist no matter how I adjusted it. I'd had way too much experience with wrist supports for carpal tunnel before I had the release surgery (which worked great - this is for a whole different problem) to get the adjustments wrong.2) ComfortOutside of the sizing issue is the fact that even if it fit it would have been too uncomfortable to use. The strap (A in the instructions) that goes across from the the thumb to the rest of the brace is practically sharp. Even with a sock padding it it wasn't going to work.C) The smell.I'm sensitive to smells, so I usually figure that I'll just have to put up with the noxious odors for a couple of days while the material airs out. The smell from this was so strong that there was no way that I could be anywhere around it. Hanging it outside for a week or two might have been enough - or might not, but it's December and I'm in North Dakota, so that was kind of out of the question in this case. All in all, this has to be returned. Luckily, one of the great things about Amazon is how easy that is to do.
