🤯 MIND IS BLOWING 🤯
So where do I begin 🤔 well first, let's look at the pics. They speak louder than words in this situation. When my custom gaming pc was built in 2019 I had idle temps in the mid 50's to low 60's. While gaming mid 70's. Well here in 2024, My pc started have major heat 🥵 🔥 spikes and just crash than shut down. As a gamer we all know that frustrating 😤 upsetting feeling all to well. I couldn't figure out what was going on. Thought I had a mobo going out, sensor issues, false reading from my software, outdated drivers. I mean, I was rocking my brain over what? What's going on with my PC? Which has never done that before. So I got on the internet like most PC owners do on Reddit. Googling everything trying to find out what this possibly is. Surely someone else has experienced the same, but much to my surprise. I couldn't find an answer. I even went as far as texting youtuber Techs to find out what could possibly be wrong with my pc, but with no response. All I kept getting on my google serched was,Make sure your fans are clean. Maybe ur fans when out, Make sure you're fans are facing the correct position for the intake and out take of your directional fans, Maybe it's your motherboard or GPU issues, check settings that you've previously done before the incident happened. Make sure your BIOS is updated. I mean,at this point you could imagine how fustrated I have become. I was so surprised there was no answers nowhere to be found to my problem. Well, I decided I'm going to tear my pc down and I'm going to re-thereal my CPU and my GPU. So with that in mind, I was on the next lookout for thermal paste. And I mean some good thermal paste. Because after all, this was my last resort. So after watching countless videos reading countless Reddit accounts on the best thermal paste out there on the market for hot temp CPU/GPUs that has a cooling agent that will cool your CPU to keep it at better temps. And I kept getting the same brand over and over again The Arctic 4. And for some reason, something told me. Don't go with that brand don't know why, but I kept looking,. so I continued to watch, Continue to read. And I found 1 video out of hundreds of videos that I have watched and found a thermal paste GC- EXTREME. And it was proven to be the best decision I made as far as my pc care. For me to have gotten such major results in the cooling side and proformance of my CPU and GPU, I was completely and utterly shocked. As you can tell in the pictures above my temperatures I was getting before I thermaled it and after I thermaled it. Even a video. And also I posted a picture of my results with the temperature only in the 40's after gaming for 2 1/2 hour run straight. So then I decided to do a major game night and I gamed for 12 hours straight and my temperatures only got to the 50s and this is no joke. This was so mind-blowing. I don't know how to feel about this one decision that changed my thought process on how vital it is to find the best thermal paste. In this vital situation popularity thermal paste has nothing to do with what is the most important. And it's only a brand name. I wanted something to actually work and achieve my expectations. Not something that was popular. Which would save you in the long run on expensive massive even in some cases, unnecessary cooling fans for your CPU. It is completely mind-blowing because ryzen as we all know runs crazy hot temperatures. And that's what I have is a full AMD pc build. So I will definitely say that if you build a pc. Or if you're just looking to redo your thermal paste, This should be your number 1 thought and anything that you do with your pc as far as pasting or you're just building PC this thermal paste will blow your mind. That is no joke. And I don't know why there is not many videos on this paste. Because this paste to me from my experience is mind blowing. I used Noctua paste In my first build and I thought that was good until I got a hold of this one. Don't get me wrong here, Noctua is amazing pc fan company which I have in my build, But this paste is amazing and I would not steer anybody wrong with a bad product. So with that being said, the pictures and videos speak louder than words. Take a look at the proof on how drastic the changes were. It's insane. If anything comes out of this review, I hope and pray that it helps someone who is looking for authentic genuine review on this product.

Fantastic Thermal Paste - Great performance!
This stuff is the real deal. I don't know how it compares to some of the other more "extreme" TIM solution but it absolutely stomps AS5 in my comparison testing. I use the Corsair Hydro Series H110i GTX Cooling - After having trouble with my in warranty EVGA motherboard EVGA X99 Classified Intel Socket LGA 2011-3 with DDR4 2666Mhz Motherboard 151-HE-E999-KR which EVGA replaced without any fuss. I found myself having to redo the TIM on my Intel i7-5830k Intel Core i7-5930K Haswell-E 6-Core 3.5GHz LGA 2011-v3 140W Desktop Processor BX80648I75930K . The processor is overclocked to 4.5GHz just for reference. I had some Arctic Silver 5 that I had just purchased so I used that. It performed worse than the thermal pad that came with the Corsair coole. My temps were reaching upwards of 60C during gaming, and never went much below 45C at idle. I decided to buy into the hyper of Gelid Solutions GC-Extreme and purchased this. I prepared the surface of the CPU and the cooler the exact same way both times. ArcticClean steps 1 and 2, and then rubbing alcohol as a final cleaning with a micro fiber cloth. After running my CPU under load and idle conditions for the past 24 hours this TIM is already producing temps 10C or more under what I was getting with AS5. I used a large pea sized blob on the middle of my CPU (large because the i7-5830K is a bit bigger than a normal i7. The change was immediate and undeniable. It hasn't even had time to flow properly into all the surface imperfections and these temperature drops are already impressive. I'm absolutely 100% satisfied with my purchase, and there's still a lot left in the tube, I might replace the TIM on my video card as well. I've seen at least one review complaining about the price. I suppose compared to $6 for a tube of AS5 this could be considered "expensive". But you get a lot more in the tube, I would say there's probably enough for 10 or more applications in there (that's a guess). It outperforms AS5 in my humble little side by side. In my opinion this is a great value considering performance and the amount you actually get in the tube. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good TIM.

Best thermal paste for any CPU!
This is by far much better than Arctic Silver 5 or any other paste I've used. I remember using it for such a long time and then I decided to look up Tom's Hardware reviews over 39 Thermal pastes and I saw that this in almost all categories was always the best in the normal thermal paste category without using some of the very difficult to apply pastes. I decided to try it for my new gaming desktop which has an FX-8350 that I overclocked perfectly stable to 4.7Ghz. When the CPU is under 100% stress testing (Prime95) It will hit around 61C (140F) and when I'm gaming it usually never goes above 50C (122F) ambient temparture is never higher than 76F, granted I do use a Noctua NH-U14S which is a massive heatsink and an exceptionally good air cooler. But, the real point why I like this paste besides that it is a great performer, how long did it take this results to come about? not even 24 hours! I had noticed after stress testing here and there trying to get to 4.7Ghz that the temps stabilized not too long through the process and honestly I'm surprised. So, it's been about 5 months since I built my machine, and I thought a couple weeks ago what if I replaced the paste in some of our old desktops and even the laptops? I tried it on a an old HP slim with a pretty hot Core 2 Duo E2200 and another with an E2220, it dropped the average temps in those by about 10F! At this point it was fun to replace thermal paste! It also majorily improved my HP 8460p's performance by a good margin and got rid of overheating on games all together! My HP sports a i5-2420M and an HD 6470M. Also, a VERY important note I must add, it pretty much stops CPU's from "Throttling" ever again in ANY machine! Just to clarify, throttling is when a CPU or GPU (Video card) lower there clock speeds or power output to compensate for the heat to protect themselves from damage or sometimes, in rare cases, the machine will totally power off to protect itself. Again, recommend this paste to anyone for literally any CPU scenario, I can not speak on behalf of GPU usage but I would recommend it either way. one more note as well, this paste is a bit more viscous than others and you should take a bit of caution when applying it as it can come out a bit abruptly and watery as I mentioned before.

Amazing performance, the only paste you should buy!
I recently bought a Dell G3 15 gaming laptop. The thermals were just awful out of the box. I have MX-4 also, but it didn't work as well as I wanted. So, after reading numerous reviews and watching plenty of youtube videos I ordered the GC extreme. It's not as easy to spread as MX-4, but it isn't difficult to apply. The included spreader works good enough. Just a thin coating is all you need. I'll let the numbers do the rest of the talking. My G3 has a i5 9300h & 1660ti max q. Prime95 Stock - reached 90c before thermally throttling to 35w. The i5 was stuck at the minimum frequency (2.4 ghz) at 35w and temps were at 85c to 88c the entire time Prime95 ran. MX-4- The MX-4 was able to sustain 45w and a steady 3.3ghz. Temps were 84-85c. GC Extreme - The GC extreme was able not only to sustain the 45w max turbo @ 3.3ghz, but did so at a max of 78c. Temps were so low, the initial short burst power max engaged again (58w) which allowed the frequency to again max at 4ghz on all 4 cores. This occured every 2-3 minutes which brought temps to a max of 81c! This stuff is all I will use going forward, and I will be replacing all of my paste on every machine over the next few days! If you are looking for thermal paste your search ends here!

ONE OF THE BEST THERMAL PASTE AROUND.
One of the best. There are a lot of articles of scientifically backed up data of what pastes are the best in cooling and I found this to be one of the greatest of the best. I can only take the testers' word and believe that those statistics will prove to be useful for my cooling needs. TL;DR do your research when building a rig. To include every tools and components

Best on the market
I have been using this for years on every GPU and CPU I have owned with excellent results. I have tried so many TIMs over the last 25 years and this one tops the charts for me consistently. It doesn't corrode. It doesn't stain. But it is a bit thick compared to other TIMs out there, which I actually like. Why? Some GPU and CPU heatsinks although rare, will come with a slightly uneven mating hehe surface or the manufacturing tolerances aren't tight enough or maybe there was a manufacturing defect in a GPU or laptop heatsink that causes it to slightly warp when heated causing the contact between the GPU/CPU and the heatsink to come undone a bit. This paste is thick enough to at least alleviate some of those problems, if minor. Something like AS5 just won't cut it in that kind of scenario. As for performance, over the last few years I have personally tested GC Extreme against Prolimatech PK2,PK3, Arctic MX2,MX4, Arctic Silver 5, and TG Kryonaut between an Intel i7 6700K/AMD Ryzen 3900X/5900X and Corsair H115i/CM Hyper 212 Black. TG Kryonaut and GC Extreme perform the best by quite compared to the rest of the pastes. Barring getting into the gritty details...everything is at stock and I am mainly going to give results of the GC Extreme on the CPUs as it performed almost identically to the Kryonaut and both of these swamped the rest. It should give everyone an idea of relative performance. Idles: Hyper212 6700K - 30C 3900X - 48C 5900X - 46C H115i 6700K - 26C 3900X - 42C 5900X - 39C Cinebench R20 All Cores: Hyper212 6700K - 54C 3900X - 84C 5900X - 84C H115i 6700K - 47C 3900X - 75C 5900X - 74C The MX2 actually performed better than the MX4 and PK2/3 and was roughly 2-4 degrees C hotter than GC Extreme idle and 4-7 C hotter under load across the board. For GPUs, it is pretty much the same story. I would recommend this paste over anything else available.

Pleasantly surprised, actually Impressed at the core temperatures after using this paste.
I have an older Lenovo T440P and just put the highest clock rate CPU in it that I could. I use it for business. I was concerned as the issue I read was that it ran hotter (It does use more watts) and that the fan would be working harder. After reading paste reviews I purchased this paste and it seems to work great. At first I figured how different could the different pastes be, but the temperature has not risen any higher that the temperstires of the lower clock rate cores. The fan is not running any faster? The only difference I see in the mix is the paste? I have free software called Coretemp V 1.18.1 developed by Authur Liberman, which provides dynamic temperatures for each of the four cores, see picture. So far (a month) its been runing cooler and the fan really hasn't been been running differently. It replaced the CPU with the same i7 Haswell architecture chipsets, this one is runinng about 500 Mhz faster. Pleasantly surprised.

Excellent paste.
EDIT: This compound was rated in the top 6 compounds for the stress test of non-metallic/liquid cooled CPU category in Tom's Hardware's 2017 update of 85 different products. Well worth your cash. My rig was 4 years old and had a decent paste before, I cannot remember what was used as I didn't apply it, but things were getting a little too hot for my comfort on load after 4 years. This one seems about on target so far. Looks to be about 1-4 degrees difference on idle and more on load. I tested Prime 95 a little bit--I don't really need these types of stress tests as I never see these loads in reality--and things were not heating up to 80 degrees at all, or at least not in the time I used the program. I would bet my OC is a tiny bit unstable in Prime, but even for gaming it is just about perfect and the temps were reduced, telling me I probably should have done the thermal paste a bit sooner. The paste was a nice consistency and spread fairly easily. I used the spreader included with the package and tried not to put too much on the CPU heatsink. I probably used about a larger pea size maybe a touch too much. It seemed fine and as a plus this product is not reactive anyway and will not ruin your motherboard if you get a little bit of overspread after screwing in your cooler. All in all a solid purchase. Curing is mostly done at this point and the rig is definitely running slightly cooler than it was before.

Expérience avec GELID SOLUTIONS GC-Extreme 3.5g nouvelle version (paquet bleu) + backplate + vis sur processeur socket 1150 J'ai 2 supports ventilo avec attaches en plastique et je me suis aperçu que le contact n'était pas OK avec le cpu (mauvaise expérience aussi avec un vieux cpu AMD socket 939 grillé (car pas protection) à cause d'un support ventilo plastique fendu à cause de la chaleur et d'une position verticale), j'ai décidé de changer les vis plastiques par un backplate + des vis métal Avant : en idle 40-45 °C, en Full 100 °C Avec Gelid-Extrême nouveau modèle : en idle 27-35 °C, en Full 60°C Donc oui au niveau thermique, elle est super efficace. J'avais l'habitude d'étaler la pâte précédente car plus fluide, la Gelid-Extrême nouveau modèle est beaucoup plus épaisse : j'ai essayé de l'étaler avec ou sans l'applicateur mais le résultat est à peu près le même, après plusieurs tests, j'en mets beaucoup trop (d'autant plus que je peux serrer à fond le ventilo sur le proc) et je galère ensuite à l'enlever. Donc je suis revenu à la bonne vieille méthode, une boulette au milieu du proc. J'ai changé ma méthode d'étalage à cause de sa viscosité, du gaspillage engendré et de la fixation avec des vis métal, mais au final j'ai appris que mon proc pouvait monter à 100°C mais avec la Gelid-Extrême, il reste la plupart du temps à 60 °C. Bien sûr qu'une grosse partie du gain est dû au changement de fixation du ventilo mais les -15° à -18°C en idle prouve qu'elle est super efficace.

Very good product and reasonably priced.
I used GC extreme because it was recommend to me and I'm thankful that i did. I used to hit TJ-Max on both my CPU and GPU as soon as i started playing RDR2 on my laptop. (With AC on at 25/26 degrees) I finally changed it's stock thermal paste after 3 months of use. Even though i don't play much, my stock thermal paste was almost dried out on GPU and CPU. Pros- 1. Very reasonably priced. 2. Works flawlessly 3. Non-Conductive 4. Much much better than stock thermal paste or the generic thermal paste these companies apply to our laptop in the name of "service". 5. Heavy games like RDR2 are showing temps under 85 degree Celsius without undervolting/disabling turbo boost, which was not the case for me previously on the stock thermal paste. Idle temp was around 30-40. I'm personally very satisfied. (with AC on at around 26 degree Celsius) Neutral- 1. Bit difficult to apply but good thermal pastes are generally thick and they are not easy to apply. I have also not done it before so, Kinda new experience for me. Cons None as of day 1. Things to note- 1. This is a day one review. Will edit it in the future as the need arises. 2. If you want to have a rough idea about the temps (like really rough) use Hwinfo app and monitor idle/gaming temps. If you Want a better idea run Antutu, 3Dmark and other benchmark tests before and after applying this thermal paste. If someone is not willing to change the thermal paste themselves (which is fine) ask your laptop service guy to apply this thermal paste (buy it yourself), if the service guy is hesitant tell him that this is non-Conductive thermal paste (it won't damage the motherboard even if some of it spills on to the motherboard).
