Tesoro Durandal Ultimate G1NL LED Backlit Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Blue LED Edition (Brown Switches)

I switched to this keyboard because it received good reviews as a Cherry-MX Brown keyboard. I do mostly serious computer work (OK - you may consider games serious but to me they are recreation) and very much like the touch of this mechanical keyboard. There is one quirk, though, that is a bit tiresome, and that is the repeat which is, well, quirky. Sometimes when I touch a key, it immediately starts repeating. I say quirky because this is inconsistent. Most of the time the repeat function is fine, but occasionally it just takes off. More than once, I have had the Ctrl+Z (undo) key combination wipe out masses of text by running dozens of undo's in a second or two. I have adjusted the keyboard repeat delay and repeat speed to go slower, but only time will tell if this resolves the problem or not. Other than the keyboard repeat (maybe the keyboard is just mad at me for tapping on it???) I very much like this board - particularly the backlit keys.

I had never owned a mechanical keyboard before, so I have nothing to compare this to. But I love the weight this keyboard has, and the brown switches are awesome. Nice tactile push with only a little bit of the annoying clack, though I've grown to love that noise I think. Backlight looks super cool. Love this product. Only had it a month, but everything is still working fine.

I've never owned a mechanical keyboard before this. Now that I have I never want to go back to a regular one ever again. But that could be said about mechanical keyboards in general. This specific one is great on its own merits too. You can change the backlit keys brightness including a reactive mode, outputs for USB, mic, and headphones. I mean it's not the most fancy in features but it's blue, has brown switches, and has great build quality. What more can you ask for?
