Fine Product - all metal - recommended
I purchased a total of 10 in 2 different orders (5 per order) and am confused about the negative reviews. I waited to buy the second set of 5 due to the bad reviews. The ones I received have no plastic parts (they are all metal), are decently machined (threads are as tight as any other medium priced clamp I've bought), and they work well. They are not heavy duty but I didn't expect that. I use them as edging clamps and they work just as I expected. They are not sloppy like cheap clamps and hold stock tight and in place just fine, including some forced bending. Of course, I wouldn't use them to force a serious bend in a 2x4.As far as I can tell, they should last for years unless abused. For the price, they are very good product. Other brands of edging clamps can cost 5 times as much (or more).

Very well made and designed!
I'm using this clamp to secure a heavy dining table top inside an RV when it's not being used. It appears to be a heavy duty product and my guess is it will hold up well. The metal is thick and heavy. Even though it's designed to be inside a workshop, the powder-coated finish looks great. I would highly recommend it, especially if you want to use it inside a home or an RV like I'm doing.

The jaws and handle seem to be pretty sturdy, but the trigger feels a bit more ...
These certainly aren't pro-grade, but they do the job well, especially for the price. The bars are metal, but the jaws, handle, and trigger are all plastic. The jaws and handle seem to be pretty sturdy, but the trigger feels a bit more flimsy than I would like. The release button is a bit small too, though that's a personal preference. When the trigger is squeezed the jaws move smoothly and they close with fewer squeezes of trigger than some of the big name brands, which I find to be a big plus when I'm using one hand to hold something in place. On the other hand, the release mechanism can be a bit sticky. I bought 6 of these and on about 4, the release is pretty much effortless- a light press and the jaws open and slide smoothly. On the others, the button catches from time to time and either won't release easily or releases and then catches again as you're sliding the jaws open. These aren't for someone doing heavy-duty or precision work, but for everyday DIY or craft projects they're great and you can't beat the price.

I bought 2 each of 5 different brands of small ...
I bought 2 each of 5 different brands of small cheap (2-3 dollar range) C clamps in 4 sizes. I did not expect much in the way of quality, but Pro-Grade sets a new low. The internal threaded area of the clamp is so oversized, I am surprised the threaded spindle dose not just fall through. To back up my review, I measured the spindle deflection near the pad with spindle extended nearly to the anvil.1 inch Grizzly aluminum H0481, deflection, 0.68mm (at 25mm down spindle)1 inch Task Force T74010, deflection, 0.93mm (at 25mm down spindle)2 inch Work Shop 8401, deflection, 0.38mm (at 47mm down spindle)4 inch Lincoln Electric KH906, deflection, 0.96mm (at 100mm down spindle)1 ½ inch Pro Grade 59129, DEFLECTION, 3.05mm !!! (at 38mm down spindle)Deflection just makes it difficult to hold harder materials in alignment while clamping, and almost impossible on uneven surfaces. The standout was the 2 inch Work Shop clamp with a deflection about the same as my Wilton and Armstrong clamps. I ordered more of these.

More than happy
I own tons of clamps but nothing for wider stuff until I bought 2 of these. The deeper I get into woodworking the more I felt I should have these. I should've bought them years ago. It has good clamping power and the quick adjust is awesome, they both work great. I haven't had these to long but I've used them a few times but they work great in my opinion. A tool like this should last a person's lifetime if you somewhat take care of them. There's not much on them that can fail. I'm more than happy with them.

Poor quality, light weight clamps
I ordered two of these before reading the reviews. Bad idea. They are very lightweight. They are only capable of handling very light weight work. I suppose if you were making small picture frames, they might be helpful. Even then, they are made of such poor quality materials, they won't last long. I attempted to hold 2x4s together, and they wouldn't even hold for one use - the clamps bent. If you read through the reviews, you will see this is a common theme.

Just the right tool at the right time.
Needed to repair some water-damaged cabinetry under a sink, where the oak face-frame board had warped almost two inches out from the bottom of the kitchen cabinet sink base. Cut the board loose and used glue and biscuit joints to reattach, while using these clamps to force the board back into alignment. 24 hours later it looked like a new cabinet. Sometimes the right tool can make all the difference. Not sure how else I could have done it.

Better then expected
I have only used these a few times so far and have been more than happy with their ease of use and holding power. They are much better than the ones I have from HF and Ollie's. I do a lot of small woodworking/craft projects and these clamps have come in very handy. They seem to be well made and sturdy, hope they hold up too. You can spend a lot more, but for my money these are great.
