I have tried making boot supports on my own, and while it’s not that difficult to create something that works reasonably well, purchasing these was well worth my money, and will save time and effort.These inserts are the perfect thickness, “just right” between bendability and durability. They bend fairly easily for insertion, but once you let go, the sheets try to straighten back out, which holds the boot legs open in a nice round shape. The 16” are a good height for calf to tall boots - some knee or higher boots will be longer, but these still prevent the ankle flop. The small hole at the top is handy for pulling them out, and hanging them between uses, too.I’m ordering another set of 10 in the 12” size for my shorter boots. You can cut to size, but unless you have space restrictions, I’d just leave them as is, for interchangeability. Or you could use a silver sharpie to label which boots they’re for. Hmm. Or, if it bothers you that much to have the “wrong” height insert, there is a variety pack, which looks decent, too.Insertion Hint: when bending sheets to insert, curl them a little farther than you think you need, so they slide all the way down into the heel without jamming into the bootleg. I sometimes have to reach in and pull them down from inside.Overall - great purchase, I can’t believe I haven’t gotten something like this before, & I’m very satisfied with my first foray into boot shapers! The boots take up less room upright, and my storage space now looks almost tidy. I’m also appreciating my boots so much more now that I can see them. I will probably take better care of them, and wear them more, too.

This is a cheap product but it works great with my boots. I don’t need anything expensive just practical

These boot shapers work very well but they are a bit hard to put into your boots. However; I still would purchase them again.

These are awesome! Easy to use, pretty self explanatory once I figured out which way the went. My boots aren’t all floppy now and my closet looks so much better.

I have many pairs of boots and wanted something to help my closet look better and help the health of the shaft on my boots. These are great. Roll them up, put them in the boot, and done. They are sturdy and working great.

Easy to use, sturdy. Ive been letting my boots just take a beating so had to find something to help keep them up and obviously does the job yea not fully hut that's my fault. As for my newer boots it'll help them last.
