These things are cheap, I've been through at least 4 of them. They might as well have been made out of aluminum foil.

Upon receiving this product I noticed the metal was not even all the way around the lug pattern. It was noticeably thin on one side and thicker on the opposite side. This in itself made me question the quality of this product, and if I could go back in time I would have returned it right then. I had 10 lug nuts to remove. I used my tire iron and this tool to break the lugs, no power tools or cheater bar was used. On the last one, the metal on the lug nut tool suddenly snapped, it fell off the lug nut and scratched my rim. I looked at the lug nut tool and it was split almost all the way down the side. If I attempt to use the tool to tighten the lugs the split in the metal gets bigger. Now I am unable to tighten the lugs to the recommended torque settings and I cannot drive my car until I get a new lug nut tool. Good thing I was doing this at home in my driveway and not stranded on the side of the road unable to change a flat tire. The inconvenience this has caused me is due to crappy materials and crappy workmanship. Where is the quality control BIMECC?!? I will never buy one of your crappy products again and neither should anyone reading this!

Needed a 10 spline for a 2006 vibe. It worked fine. I used a socket on the end. It's not a impact socket so take it easy. I'm sure sure it would split with a great amount of torque.

Product was as advertised. Doesn't seem to be sturdy enough for air wrench use, but worked great with a breaker bar.

If you have these splined bolts or nuts, keep an extra onr of these tools in your home and car!! They do have a habit of splitting when too much torque is applied. The wall is thin at the star points so that it can fit into very tight wells. Rule of thumb is you can use these with an impact gun to loosen, but not to tighten. Just use a torque wrench to tighten.

Just what I needed to remove ugly aftermarket rims. Hard to find socket to say the least, tire center at big box store acted like they had never seen a 10 spline lug nut anyway, new rims on old rims gone to scrap dealer. Socket worth every penny. Speed of shipping great. Believe the reviews for once, vender just great.
