Board does not fit into standard breadboards
This board does not fit into a breadboard or the Electrocookie protoboards. You can bend the pins in some and get it in but you will only have access to a single side. Not really sure what the use case of this is. Why have male header pins when you can't plug it into anything? The same thing can be said about the screw holes, why would you have mounting holes if you have male headers? The only thing I can think of is mounting it onto standoffs upside down. I was really hoping this would be better than HiLetGo, and it is, but it still has major flaws. At least you don't have to solder a cap to this one. I will try to figure out how I'm going to use this but I don't have high hopes.

It's pretty good and works but doesn't always fit on breadboard!
Whatchu gotta do is get two breadboards and take one of the power rails off in the middle of them and then hopefully your breadboard lets you connect them. I think all breadboards do this but i'm not sure Other than that it's worked like a charm so far. ALSO when uploading Arduino code to it, you have to hold down the BOOT button once it says connected in the output of the IDE and then press the EN button for a bit and then let go.

Nice board except...
The board works well out of the bag, however, the seller failed to add a VERY important note that "a breadboard setup is not intended to work for days in the field and will fail over time". Had I known this prior I would not run the board for 24/7 and got a Brownout error. So basically the seller support told me I am at fault while I was not made aware prior. The support person was knowledgeable, however, I can do with less attitude and more professionalism. So 2 stars, I am not purchasing any items from this seller as they failed to include important information about the product.

Has no LDO so cannot use 5V psu, must use 3.3V
Some Dev boards can step down 5V to 3.3V this one cannot. So risk burning the board out. The boot loader is finicky which is not fun to deal with and there is no documentation that tells you how to work around this. Because it is so finicky the results getting it to load firmware is sketchy. Not a fun board to work with. It's a cheap board and that is all that is good about. You can spend a bit more and get a much more solid product. AVOID THIS BOARD.

So far, so good
I ordered two and both are the "new" style so they have DIYmall on the underside of the PCB instead of DOIT. I selected DOIT ESP32 DEVKIT V1 in the arduino IDE and loaded the example WiFiScan sketch as an initial test of both boards and both appear to be working.

Great ESP32-S3 Board for Projects!
This development board works perfectly for my IoT and microcontroller projects. The WiFi and Bluetooth connections are fast and stable, and the 36-pin layout makes it very versatile. It was easy to program with Arduino IDE, and all pins responded correctly. Excellent quality for the price — ideal for beginners and advanced users alike!

cant flash / upload. tried many combinations of the buttons; even tho the video shows you dont need to press anything. product is garbage. A fatal error occurred: Failed to connect to ESP32: Download mode successfully detected, but getting no sync reply: The serial TX path seems to be down.
