KILZ 2 All-Purpose Primer, Interior/Exterior, 1 Gallon

I've been using myself and suggesting KILZ for many years for my clients that have cat or dog urine that seeped into the floor before covering it with carpet or hardwood flooring. It is excellent for covering odors or stains including water stains. It is easy to apply like paint and does so much more. I highly recommend! It's a dependable high quality sealer!!

I've used Kilz primer/sealers for years now and have never been disappointed in the product performance. This is a great value shipped to my door for the same price as its sold in Walmart for store pick up. This is a great primer/sealer for most uses, it's always smart to test a small area of your project to insure its performance, but I've yet to find it to disappoint. I seldom find a need for a second coat of primer unless I'm covering black or a very dark stain. Still one primer coat will seal it and then two coats of my primary new color.

I used this to cover up some really dark stains and water marks on my mudroom walls. I was skeptical because of how dark the marks were. It took a couple layers before I felt comfortable to paint over it but it looks fantastic. I couldn't be happier. The nice part is that it didn't smell. Now my dirty mudroom is all nice and fresh and clean.

This stuff works really well to coat a garage. I did two coats on a new drywall and it looks great. Unfortunately i have to knock a star because i had to buy at a retail store since the post office's truck was coated in my paint.

Thank you for taking such care in packaging this prep paint. It had bubble wrap surrounding can along with can clips to secure lid. Also the outer package had labeling to keep box upright. Thank you. Kilz is a trusted brand and i appreciate you shipping it with care.

Great as primer or sealer. Used it on some weathered wood railing and deck where paint had worn off and was exposed. Good coverage, soaked in well and dried quickly. It was the perfect base for the new paint. Since the surface was already sealed, the new paint went on smoothly and didn't get sucked into the wood, thus saving the more expensive finish paint. Easy cleanup.

I used this to prime walls that hadn't seen paint in a while. They were as prepped for paint as prepped could be. I thought it was a little thick when I was doing the edging with a brush, but once I went to roll it on the walls I almost wanted to cry. AS SOON as this goes up on the wall, you have about 30 seconds to smooth it out. If you dont smooth it out IMMEDIATELY, when you do smooth it out, the primer that was on the wall sticks to the roller. I tried putting it on light, I tried putting it on a little heavier. I watered it down a little. Doesn't matter. You have to put it on so fast, that you aren't going to do a good job. When I told a contractor friend I bought this stuff, he said return it, and buy something else, it's garbage. I should have listened, because this stuff IS TOTAL GARBAGE!
