I'm very happy with the quality!
This coir mat is thick and has a woven back. We've had some in the past that were thinner and had a black backing. the black backing stained the stone (different doorway). I have purchased others like these and they last very well if they are kept out of the rain. So use them in protected areas from the weather. This one in particular was perfect for my larger sliding glass door.

Good Quality!
Although, I just put it out, the quality looks very good. It’s thick and looks sturdy. I’m anxious to see how it holds up!

Quality: A1
I use these Coco doormats at every outside door. They are very thick, have a heavy weight to them, and are plain and classic. If you are into crafting, they take paint beautifully. Personally, I now like them plain or with just a simple black line around the top. I even use one in the garage outside the inner door into the house. This one lasts for years. The ones outside, under the eaves, last for about 3 to 5 years. Worth every penny to buy quality!

Sheds, needs slip proof liner
I knew this would need the slip proof liner, no stars deducted for that. I don’t like vinyl coating on mats because it breaks down, makes a mess and eventually becomes ineffective. I like it’s looks, I like the width, I like how dense it is. That said, I knew it might shed a bit at first because it was new so I brushed it, hosed it well in case of color leaching, and generally tried to make sure it would be tidy when I put it on my porch. We’ll see how dense it is when it stops shedding. This mat sheds all the time. Every time we wipe our feet on it it sheds little bits of coir. It’s messy. I don’t think I’ve ever had a mat this messy. I think all of the others were coated on the bottom. We’ve only had it a month, we are not a high use household (trick or treaters not withstanding) so I am giving it more time. It might be just the newness - like a new towel. If it is still this messy in spring I will knock it down a star.

Great Natural Doormat - Highly Recommend!
This is the best natural doormat I've ever found. I absolutely LOVE them! I use these doormats at my front and back doors for many years and very happy with my purchase. I really like they do not use a synthetic backing of this doormat as it's very difficult to find. I was having issues with some kind of white growth under my doormats due to higher humidity and lack of breathability on standard doormats found at Target. I think the synthetic backing was not allowing the pavers under the mat to breathe. After cleaning the area thoroughly, I put this all-natural mat down and never had another issue. Never looked back and have been using these mats for many years. Very good quality.

Won’t stay in place
It’s a nice thick doormat but it won’t stay in place. I tried adding a rug pad under it on my porch and it continues to move in one direction every time you step on it….literally seems like it walks on its own almost. I have to move it back in place more than once a day so that’s annoying and I wouldn’t order again.

Well Made. Expensive But Well Paid and Thick
Like these matts as they work great for shoes before house enter. They do wear out over time but bristles just best way to clean bottom of a shoe. This one especially thick and I like that. No tripping over it yet but might be possible.

Well-Made, Beautiful, Large
These coco coir doormats are large, thick and seem very well-made. I bought two of them. I like that there is no rubber or plastic at all, just beautiful, tightly woven, 1" thick natural fiber. These thick mats do a much better job cleaning shoes and trapping dirt than the recycled rubber mats, or even the thin coco coir mats that are integrated with a rubber base. The size (36" wide, 22" deep) is perfect for most front and back doors, but may be too wide for some uses -- be sure to measure your area if you are not certain.
