Works very well
This is my second one purchased. Amazing little machine. Makes the job much easier. Well made and reasonably priced…winner in our opinion.

I might be the only person who switched an atlas for this
When I got back into polymer clay I did research and couldn't afford a lucy clay machine but I did spend $80 on an atlas wellness. It's well made but it made horrid ridges right out of the box at every thickness. I can't even use for my cosclay, it sticks to the rollers and it flakes it up and off and puts air inside it horribly. I read reviews on this one and the non-stick rollers seemed promising. It's the only thing I can use with cosclay or 50%+ cosclay mixes and there are only soft ridges at the thinner settings. You need to be kind and gentle with the thickness dial (reviews and recommendations agree this is often what breaks first), but if I get the planned 3-5 years out of this I'll be happy.

Good choice for polymer clay
I got this to use with polymer clay and it works great. I haven't needed to take it apart for cleaning, and don't get the buildup of clay on the bottom that I got with my previous pasta roller.

Only complain is handle is a bit weak.
This polymer clay pasta machine is very easy to use, and I’m quite happy with it. It offers multiple thickness settings and doesn’t have issues with clay sticking, making it easy to clean. However, one disappointing aspect is the green plastic handle grip, which cracked after some use. While I’ve managed to fix it temporarily and continue using it, I worry about what to do if it fully breaks. I wonder if others have faced the same issue. It’s unfortunate because this is the only flaw in an otherwise excellent product. I really wish the plastic were more durable. The handle is removable, which makes it compact and easy to store. However, there is a chance it might come off while turning, so be cautious when using it.

Love this roller
I wish I had spent the money and bought this clay roller first. Easy to use and clean. Such an improvement over the cheap rollers I tried. I love the width and how easy it rolls. Only draw back is how easy it is to knock the handle out. Thinking about trying some plumbers tape

Top Quality and Fast Delivery
Excellent purchase. Paid about $10 less for a different brand. It was very poor. Metal was coming off the rollers. Different rollers on this one, and no chance that metal will come off since they are not metal. Bought this one because Makins is a great company, and I wasn't going to take another chance on a poor quality machine. Makins also sells a motor for this machine. I may buy it in the future. I have Prime. I ordered on Jan 24, 2017, and received it the next day.

Good, not great
I like this but don't love it. Clay rollers can be very expensive so this is a good option for beginners but you get what you pay for. Pros: - Rolls consistent thickness of clay. - Can handle rolling out a lot of clay at a time. - Easy to setup/use out of the box. - Comes with a way to clamp to the table, which stays tight and works awesome! - Setting the thickness is actually pretty easy, it just takes a minute to get used to. You have to pull the dial out and then turn it. Then when you let go it snaps back into place. Cons: - The turning handle press-fits in and it doesn't stay in. If you bump it or turn it slightly wrong it comes right out. - There was oil or something on the rollers, which ruined some of my clay before it all came off (onto my clay).

Well built
I purchased another brand before buying the Makin’s brand and it only lasted 30 days before the handle broke and the gears began slipping. I’ve had this clay machine for over 6 months with no signs of wearing. I know with the other machine it kept trapping pieces of clay that I could never clean out and the design of this machine is similar. You can’t take it apart to clean however I’ve started rolling my clay between a cut up portion of a plastic sheet protector and it’s been the best thing ever! The machine still grabs the clay just fine even with the sheet protector and I don’t get clay residue. I would buy this machine again for the price and reliability.

I shopped around a bit before picking out this machine as it had the best reviews. Very good, has a bolt with it so it doesn't move from the table while you're using it. I find some residue from the clay sticks to the wheels so you just have to clean it with a wet wipe before swapping colours but this is to be expected. Comes with all the different thickness settings which you can change by pulling out the knob on the side slightly and turning.

More expensive than most clay machines but great if you are a hobbyist or sell your work and not wanting to spend on the top grade machines in the market. You do get what you pay for as I extensively researched the clay machines. The Makin is worth the price as it has a non stick roller, smooth and even extrusion of clay through different thicknesses, and the steel durable more so than most "tinny" cheaper models. It's a game changer to produce professional looking clay and an easy way of conditioning the clay. Like the fact the handle comes off to prevent accidently hitting it when not in use. However, the plastic handle on the end could be a bit better in quality but overall happy with the purchase.
