Treasury of David - Kindle edition by Spurgeon, Charles H.. Download it once and read it on your Kindle device, PC, phones or tablets. Use features like bookmarks, note taking and highlighting while reading Treasury of David. Review: A Treasure - 5 of 5 stars (it was amazing) for the entirety of Spurgeon’s great work on the Psalms, The Treasury of David. 2 of 5 stars (it was OK) for the one volume kindle version that I read while listening to the five-volume Audible book. This is a massive, wonderful work that can bring new insight and gems out of the Psalms. This is not for quick study or simply enhancing a devotional, but it is an excellent to accompaniment to an In-Depth study of this awesome Biblical book. I am retired. That fact, coupled with the #StayAtHome orders of 2020, allowed me to complete this commentary and study of the Psalms in a little over a month. (I read while listening at 1.5x speed, so it took *only* about 130 hours). A word of warning. The one volume kindle version, ASIN B003KVL2J4, had many pages missing, It was annoying enough to mention here, but I didn’t miss out because I was listening along. The TOC was helpful. Next time I read this work (and I certainly will), I will listen to the excellent (Bob Souer narrated) Audible version and read along with my 3 volume set. Review: Excellent Read! - I purchased the eBook, Treasury of David, for my Kindle because the hard copy books (3 Volumes) were too heavy and the print too small. Kindle made it easy to read and to quickly toggle to my Bible, which is also on Kindle, as part of my study on the Book of Psalms. It's easy to read and navigate. My favorite feature is the dictionary, which I can place my cursor on a word and the definition appears. This allows me to read without missing a beat. The actual book is an excellent read for any Christian who wants to grow. It will deepen your faith, widen your understanding, and give you a greater love for our Lord Jesus Christ. As part of my morning devotions, I read Spurgeon's Treasury of David. I started with Psalm 1 and am up to Psalm 90, which is 51% of the way through the eBook. I have found myself feasting on God's word throughout this book. This was a great gift that the Lord, using Charles Spurgeon, gave to the Church. I wish more Christians would discover this blessing.

Great edition!
This review deals solely with the Kindle edition of the book(s), not with the actual content of Spurgeon's writing. This is a great edition of Spurgeon's "Treasury of David." The text is well laid out in a simple, easy-to-read format. The text seems to be accurate to the original, so far as I have read, with no typographical errors or glitches that cheap editions often contain. There is a basic table of contents, to which are added links throughout each chapter to help with navigation. All in all, this is a very satisfying purchase, and I would recommend it to anyone with a Kindle, iPad, or other compatible reader.

Great Companion Commentary on Psalms that is Passionate
Oh, the depths of the riches in Spurgeon's writings! He wrote a lot in his short life here on earth but OH how rich this commentary on the book of the Psalms is! Worth coaming through. You will love his heart beat for God, and to feel that worshiper and warrior call within the pages of his reflections on Psalms.

Table of Contents link didn't work.
I returned my Kindle edition of this book because the Table of Contents link didn't work. The content is excellent, but without a working Table of Contents a "treasure" like this is not useful.

Encouragement from the Psalms
Spurgeon was a master of analogy. That's why he's so potent. In an instant, one is cut to the quick by his incisive and often tender thrusts. He adds thoughts from others who have spoken to his own soul -- they're well worth reading, as well. This is an invaluable book to read alongside the Psalms, themselves.

A classic series that you will treasure - just as the title says!
I love the Treasury of David. Not cheap but worth every penney.

Only Psams 88-110
While this will be useful I thought this would have the whole book of Psalms but instead it’s just Psalms 88-110.

I have this in Hard Back, but it is good to have it on Tablet, it is a vast deep study on the Psalms, it can be read as a 'dip in' and be blessed or as a deep study guide, I have learnt so much from this book, it should be on every Christians book shelf

This does so much good to the soul. If you like the puritans or Spurgeon go for it. So much good is inside and it is very devotional and we sometimes get to much into the technical details that we miss some really good insides. They don't show Christ in every psalm but they get so many things right.

Needless to say - excellent. I was gutted to find out though that this is only volume 3... not as described here above
