I originally was buying Nurri brand protein shakes, which I really like, but the price jumped from $19.99 per 12-pack to $30 and even $40 for the exact same thing. So I switched to Pure Protein, which also offers shelf-stable 30g protein shakes. Not as tasty as Nurri, but priced right. Who knows, next time I go to order, even these might be double in price. I've tried both vanilla and now strawberry Pure Protein and both are good. I drink them room temp. The taste is subtle, but has a real strawberry flavor, not overly artificial. Not chalky, no aftertaste. Goes down easy and almost instantly raises my energy level. Pair it with a good B-6 supplement for even better results.

I have been surprised by the taste of these Strawberry Pure Protein shakes. Having tried many other more expensive brands I have stopped looking and subscribed to a couple cases monthly. Sometimes they are a little too thick for me and I just dilute it with milk to my preferred consistency. They're great in the morning when my stomach will not yet accept food. These go down very easy.

I was buying the Equate brand of strawberry protein shakes then the discontinued carrying them. My husband found this on line and I thought I would try it. It taste delicious and there are 12 to a box so I don’t have to order as often. They usually come the very next day from ordering.

One of the top 5 protein drinks per Comsumer Digest. Jocko was #1 but a bit expensive. Plus the flavors, vanila and straberry tase like vanilla and straberry. Other flavors tend to be too strong aftertase. Still ma fav is Aloha but many retsilers stopped seliing it due to recall last year. Atkins is good and inexpensive but wanted to try something els wih lower sugar content.
