Purchased in June 2026 for under £13, this scale weighs up to 300g in 0.01g increments and includes batteries. Its precision and sensitivity have exceeded my expectations. I needed a scale for small quantities of yeast and spices. I chose this model based on the brand's reputation—I already own their instant-read meat thermometer—and the absence of negative reviews. Regarding previous feedback: - It appears the product description, previously noted as incorrect, has been updated by Amazon. - I have a different take on the comments regarding the lid being "thin and flimsy." It serves effectively as a protective cover and functions well as a weighing tray. - One reviewer reported inaccuracies after placing heavy objects off-center. As this is a high-precision instrument, the center of mass must be aligned with the platform. I have included a video demonstrating that the scale accurately measures very light objects (0.12g), regardless of the tare weight. The sensitivity is impressive; as noted by another user, the platform is responsive enough to register the pressure of a gentle breath. This extreme sensitivity also means that readings may "float" in the presence of air currents, such as drafts or an oven fan. Additionally, do not be misled by the manual’s claim that "T" is a warning indicator; it simply denotes that the zeroed load exceeds 20g. The scale handles "negative weight" and can be used for weighing by subtraction.

Only had a couple of weeks, very happy with it, very precise, i use it to weigh .50g of tri-calcium phosphate Battery good so far (early days), good price, solid feel, easy to use and easy to wipe down, would recommend

Not highly accurate, but good enough, I wouldn't use it for medical use like some people have done, I'd rather rely on a pharmacy for safety. I found the tray isn't very useful, the L/T on the brand name seems to be the centre point with most accuracy, things that need to be weighed need to be evenly distributed and no more than about 5 cm square, the size of the platform approximately. I used some mini weights to check, most were off by 0.01g, when it came to 100g it was about 0.08g off. This is fine by me, I'm a fashion student putting 5 cm square of fabric to work out GSM so rounding up that 0.01g before multiplying and I also have a Lidl food scale that I use for parcels 100g-5kg, so it's perfect in combo use. I also found it useful to reinsert battery, check with mini weight of 1g, sometimes that increases accuracy.

These are well designed, very accurate, easy to use, and cheap !

I bought this mini scale to weigh coffee. Has been very accurate so far and perfect for my use case. It is also very small and very light, and has a protective cover for when it isnt used. The only downside I would say would be the total capacity (you cant even put a mug on top), but that isnt a problem. I have a regular kitchen scale for that. It may be the best value for money, unless you value more a more complex automatic scale with timer etc - a dedicated coffee scale, which tend to be multiple times the price. Also, Salter is a known brand so it isnt some no name scale that is sold under 10 different names. Can't comment on longevity or durability, but otherwise has worked well for me so far. It doesnt seem it can handle abuse, but why would you need it to? Quick wipe and back to the box with every other coffee and tea equipment and everything is ready for next time.

Bought for measuring tiny glass beads accurately and works perfectly. The lid/holder is really handy too for pouring into a small space after.

Perfect for model making hobbyist where precise, small amounts of powders, dyes etc are critical for perfection

Die Waage ist absolut top. Misst auf das hundertstel genau. Das Display ist durch die Beleuchtung super abzulesen. Das Teil hat keinen unnötigen Schnickschnack und ist daher sehr leicht zu bedienen. Ich habe sie schon zum zweiten Mal gekauft, um sie zu verschenken. Meine habe ich schon seit über 4 Jahren und sie funktioniert immer noch mit der ersten Batterie. Selbst einen Sturz auf den Fliesenboden hat sie schadlos überstanden. Das Produkt kommt halt aus England und nicht aus China. 😉 Würde ich sofort wieder kaufen.

Come potete osservare nel video che allego, questa “performante” bilancia tedesca non smette di variare il peso indicato. Impossibile pesare integratori/farmaci/preziosi e tutto ciò per cui l’oggetto è ideato. E pensare che volevo fare il salto di qualità rispetto a quelle “cinesi” di 7-8 euro. Questa di tedesco ha solo il nome, per il resto posso dire con assoluta precisione che è una c.g.ta pazzesca.

Zeigt das Gewicht reproduzierbar identisch aber stabil an, reagiert zügig auch auf geringe Änderungen, ist schön klein und für meinen Zweck (Espressopulvermenge genau wiegen) sehr gut geeignet. Änderungen der Gewichtsanzeige sind mir allerdings aufgefallen, wenn ich ein sehr warmes Behältnis (warme Tasse) auf die Messplatte stelle. Dann geht die Gewichtsanzeige langsam nach oben. Es scheint hier also eine Temperaturabhängigkeit zu geben. Dies lässt sich vermutlich durch eine Unterlage beheben. Meine Nutzung beeinträchtigt das nicht. Die Wiegeschale als Deckel finde ich ganz pfiffig gelöst.
