This is the first time i've purchased cow ears for my dog, so i wasn't sure how they'd go over with him-- even though, honestly, he loves all food. I was so glad when he was excited for them the very first time i gave him one, as well as ever since. I bought them primarily because i had read that they're good for dogs' teeth. So far i don't know if they've spruced up my pupper's teeth, but they definitely keep him occupied for maybe 20 to 30 minutes. This sounds very short, but it's a pretty long time for my dog to have to work away at something that he wants to eat. And he doesn't take breaks, either: he works at the ear until it's all gone. I was honestly surprised by how big the ears are; they're bigger than my hands. It's also very tough, & before saliva happens, very very low odor. Once my dog starts on it, & starts getting his saliva all over it, the ear softens so he can pull it apart & eat it, & eventually it does begin to smell fairly strongly. But all that's really to be expected, & the smell doesn't bother me much. I'm sure for my dog it makes the ear even more appetizing. I will definitely buy these again in the future. The bag is big, the ears are big, & they give my dog something to work & focus on that he clearly finds enjoyable. He gets to work his jaw & his brain, clean his teeth, & get a yummy treat! You can't really beat that.

I just bought my first package of BBS brand chews from free range grass fed cattle. I have previously purchased over 35 of another cow ear chews brand here on Amazon that shot up in price 5x as much overnight. It's interesting to compare the two. I will tell you why I choose the Best Bully Sticks brand. The other brand we were a fan of was more white in color and had no odor. However, I love that the BBS brand is not bleached and are healthier. They are from cows that freely roam to eat grass and are not cooped up in a barn their whole life fattened up on hormones and given antibiotics. The BBS chews are authentically colored yellow (no bleach) and yes they have a bit of an animal smell. The chews are large, but can be cut smaller for smaller mouths. We do prefer that our 15 lb shih-tzu chews it either in her kennel or outside, because of the slight odor - which is no big deal to us. Our dog is sooo happy with these chews. She prefers them over the others. The funniest thing to our family is how our dog won't drop the chew to go potty outside. She holds it in her mouth while she potties. Then prances back inside with it in her mouth the whole time. These have never, ever upset her tummy. We're very happy and highly recommend this brand. The price is the best in comparison to Merrick brand chews.

I have a 100 lb Yellow Lab...he LOVES the taste and the thickness of these cow ear chews! They're just the right size treat to keep him busy, calm him down, and they aren't overly stinky. These treats are actual cow ears, so a little funky looking coming out of the bag! I've read that cow hide chews aren't the best for dogs, so I was happy to find this alternative treat that is easily digested, compared to the cow hide. 15 cow ears in a bag, so great value for the money.

The bag is huge! When I opened the bag, the smell that wafted out wasn't pleasant. I brought an ear to my nose (yes... I did) and didn't like the smell. However, I didn't buy it for me, I bought it for my 9 month old toy poodle and my mom's 15 year old toy poodle. They love them! My puppy loves jumping from toy to toy to chew to toy and back again, but this was the some of her most focused "work". She loves bully sticks, but I am not happy with them. Sometimes she has problems starting them or prefers her "Aunt's" (the 15 year old) bully stick to hers. Also I am getting tired of not knowing what I'm getting in regard to bully sticks - sometimes there is no smell and it is AMAZING. Sometimes there is a horrible smell... so I'm not thrilled with the inconsistency. I'm not here to review bully sticks sold by a local pet store so I'll get back to the cow ears. For my small dogs, these ears take them a while to chew; which is really nice. My young girl has a bit of separation anxiety and these ears keep her crying WAY down when alone. They do seem to jump start her digestive process though and she poo's more often. Her breath after chewing one doesn't seem to bad considering the ears smell so bad to me. What does smell bad is around the outside of her mouth after she chews one... the smell can apparently be transferred into her hair. I get lots of kisses (which I love) prefer my baby to smell nice when giving me a face shower. I haven't had these in my possession very long - if anything changes for us, I will definitely update my review!

I am so pleased with these Thick-Cut Cow Ears. The other brand that I used to buy was large. It would take my dog at least 4 or 5 days to chew through them. Then they got so small that my dog chewed them in half a day. I was looking for Cow Ears that were bigger & thicker. These Best Bully Sticks fit the bill. These cow ears last a long time, 4 or 5 days. These cow ears are a great value for the money, and are great for teeth cleaning. This company gained a new customer. Great product.

Advertising these as "Hand-Inspected" in the title and "THE HIGHEST QUALITY STANDARDS" as seen in their video, is very loosely true, unless bags of low quality cow ears are considered hand inspected and their standards then sure. I purchased 16 bags through out this year, and about 5 of them were not as good as the normal ones pictured in the thumbnail. Paying 20$ for every bag, I'd expect every bag to be the best quality there is. The poor quality bags I have received range from weird colors, to fuzzy/hairy things left in the air canal, to thin/transparent ears. Some bags came with small ears, with the ear canal area completely removed. The transparent and thin ears my dogs did not eat, only to chew on for 1-2 minutes before ignoring it, I smelled these ears and they do not smell at all the same as the good quality ears. I'd be okay with a bag out of every 16 to be terrible quality, that seems reasonable, but for multiple is unacceptable. The quality is very good when the good batches are in, they have a "bad odor" but this is normal for cow ears. My dogs chew on them until there is no more, they are 120+ LB each and naw on the ears for around 35-50 minutes. However, due to the fact that I basically wasted 100$ as it does not last as long due to the size, or didn't last at all because the dogs ignored it, I won't buy anymore. I had to toss half a bag away because the dogs completely ignored them due to the poor quality. Will be looking for another brand.

My dog loves these. He’s a 32lb mutt. He doesn’t typically finish these in one sitting, but he also has only dog syndrome where he’s become so spoiled he rarely finishes any treat. We let him leave his half finished cow ears and bully sticks out (ie we don’t take them away) and he’ll typically chew on the same one on and off for a few days. Sometimes I think he hides them so he can get a new one. (New is always better!!) overall Parkey really loves these and gets incredibly excited about them. We have been happy with them. The treats are fairly large, and come in a giant bag which surprised me initially and was a problem with fitting in our treat container. You need room to store these. Also a huge positive, unlike a lot of other treats, they don’t really smell too bad and tend not to be sticky or gross feeling to the touch. I included a picture of one with a 12in bullystick for reference. Also as I was taking the picture for the first time I really looked at one and they are kinda gross. You can see the cow hair and everything 🤢

I am not an avid Cow Ear eater. . .actually not at all, but my little Chorkie is. First, these things are stinky. But if the same rule applies for fishing as it does for ears, they probably taste excellent. Second, my overweight Chorkie knows food. You can tell by her overweight glass figure. She loves these ears. You give her one and she will disappear with it. Which is a good thing, especially when you come home from work and do not want to play fetch for the 100th time. Luckily she brings them out from where she hid it and begins chewing again on the bed at night. Which sometimes can scare you when you hear someone scratching at the window at night and find out it's your dog chewing. My negative. . .Chorkie's negative. These ears are thin. So after a while of chewing it can be a cough/choke or stuck in tooth issue because the dog can pull a sheet off (paper thin). This has happened with other ears that are thin. It just means that a little bit of precaution on the owners part (cutting away the paper thin pieces) will save from hacking or the scratching of the teeth. The positive of this is that our Chorkie loves it so much she does not want one piece to escape.
