Nexus 5X Case Full Matte Slim-Fit Flexible TPU Case (Revision 2) for LG Nexus 5X (2015) - Black - (N5X-FM-BLK-R)

This is the third case I've tried for my Nexus 5x, and it's by far the best. The fit is great, no problems there. It is very thin and doesn't add much to the bulk. I think I wish I'd gotten the one with the extra material in the corners, but I've dropped this one a couple times and it has survived in good fashion. It has a decent sized lip on the front so that is keeps the screen from touching any surfaces. The lip is very small though, so it doesn't interfere with or overlap with my screen protector (I use Nexus 5X Screen Protector, PLESON® LG (Google) Nexus 5X Tempered Glass Screen Protector [2015], 99% Clarity, 0.2mm, 9H Hardness, Bubble Free, Glass Screen Protector for Nexus 5X - Lifetime Warranty and it is great. Also highly recommended).The cutouts for the camera and flash are pretty dead on, but the finger print sensor cutout is slightly low. It's not off enough to affect the function of the sensor (I didn't even notice it for a long time).The cutouts for the USB, headphones, and mic are ample, and the TPU around the ports is a bit thinner than the rest of the case. This seems like a very well thought out design and it works great for me so far. I've used many USB-C cables, and several headphones, and they have all plugged in just fine.The last big feature that I love is the ease of pressing the buttons. The TPU has tiny slits along the sides of the buttons which makes them very easy to press. This is a great feature. Other cases have been very difficult to press the buttons, but this one feels 100% directly tactile to the buttons on the phone. It is by far the best of the 3 I've tried.I would definitely buy this one again.

Love this case. This my second Diztronic. I had a Diztronic Matte Back Black Flexible TPU Case for LG Nexus 5 - Retail Packaging for my Nexus 5 and loved it as well. No surprise, when I upgraded to the 5X I looked to Diztronic again. The cutouts are perfect and fingerprint reader is fine. I'm using mine with [2 Pack] Nexus 5X Screen protector, OMOTON® 0.26 mm 2.5D Tempered Glass Screen Protector for LG Google Nexus 5X (2015 Released) with [9H Hardness] [Crystal Clear] [Scratch Resist] [No-Bubble Install] and it fits perfectly inside the front lip. The little bit of extra height makes the lip shorter and the case even less noticeable. The matte finish is a bit more slippery than the matte finish of the phone, but otherwise it's pretty close feeling.Pros:1. super slim and light, barely even notice it.2. cutouts are perfectly aligned.3. side buttons are covered, but are raised and still work well.4. slight lip around the front for laying phone face down.5. resists fingerprints and dustCons:1. can be slippery at times.

Ever since I discovered Diztronic, their TPU cases have been the ones I recommend to friends & family. So naturally I waited for these to become available for my new Nexus 5X. These are leaps and bounds above those cheap, generic TPU cases you find on eBay. The matte finish provides a good grip and gives it a more mature image, not like those loud, shiny, rubbery generic ones. The buttons are satisfying to press and I appreciate that they designed a little indentation between the volume +/- buttons to help differentiate them by sense of touch (instead of using the original single bar button design of the 5X). The case is also raised around the rear camera hump, providing ample protection. The fit and finish is almost perfect. I noticed the fingerprint sensor cutout is about a millimeter off center but the cutout is big enough that this is basically a non-issue.All in all, I'm extremely satisfied with this case and would not hesitate to recommend to others. Considering the cost, this is an outstanding value (especially when considering the equivalent Adopted case direct from Google is more than double the price). Keep up the good work guys!

Pros:Protection. I've dropped my phone many times, including while biking on the road, and this case has protected my phone completely, every time.Easy to add/remove. The flexible rubber-like case is easy to pop on and off of the phone, if you're like me and you often want to remove the case during "safe" indoor use.Access. The power/volume buttons are very easy to press. The fingerprint scanner, camera, ports, etc. are all unimpeded.Texture. Compared to other cases I've had, this case is neither the most "slippery smooth" nor the most "grippy", but in the middle.Cons:The case does add a little bulk to the phone, which can make it a bit harder to reach parts of the screen when using a single hand, but that's unavoidable for a case this rugged.Bottom line:This case is very affordable, very comfortable, and very durable. Can't go wrong with it.

Exactly what I wanted for my brand new LG Nexus 5X. Light weight, thin, not bulky. Added protection around the back camera lens keeping the lens keeps the lens further off the surface when laid down. Same for the screen, the lip around the screen is perfect, and adds about 1-2mm of space when laid down. The lip makes it easier to handle the phone too. And hte Nexus 5X needs it too, because it is a slipery one, and I could easily see it sliding out of my hand. Had to be careful when handling it. But the case resolves that. Love the the look and touch of this smooth matte rubber case material. Really, the phone should be manufactured using this same case material. A perfect matte finish that gives you some grip. Excellent. Not fancy. Fits snug as a bug in a rug. The sides are not loose at all on my Nexus 5X. Buttons work perfectly. Highly recommend.
