I would recommend picking up a few if you can... never know when you'll forget where you put it! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not cheap *by J***M on May 25, 2026* Works ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Expensive for what it is but you need it for lower gauge/thin wires *by C***O on March 16, 2022* Recently had a project where I had to create a bunch of removable 12v power connections with Anderson Powerpole connectors. I was using 14-gauge zip cord, which is very flexible. I found that 14-gauge zip cord used with the 30-amp Powerpole connectors was too flexible to be inserted into the connector. The wire would just fold on itself and I couldn't get the metal connector to "click" into the plastic housing. I used this tool to push the metal tab into the housing and it works well. I haven't used this tool to extract the metal tabs yet and probably never will, so can't comment on that part. You could use a small screwdriver to do the same thing, but this tool was designed to fit into the Powerpole connectors. It works.
