3.5mm Microphone Assembly Mic for Car Vehicle Head Unit Bluetooth Enabled Stereo Radio GPS DVD

Works great on my aftermarket Sony in my Subaru.The one that came with the stereo was staticky when I'd call someone. I could hear them fine but they couldn't hear meThis microphone saves the day!

I bought one of those Chinese Android car stereos which actually turned out to be a great stereo but had a horrible microphone. I could scream into the mic on that Android head unit and people would say I sounded "far away" , they could barely hear me and hear a ton of background noise. This plugged directly into the back of the unit on the 3.5mm plug and totally fixed all the mic issues. Works great now, and people don't hear the road noise over my voice like previously before. I mounted it into the head liner overhead and the cord is long enough to go down the column and back to the center dash.

I installed this external microphone, and it fit perfectly in the same spot as my factory microphone with only a minor adjustment. I ran the cord down from the roof, through the A-pillar, and behind my aftermarket head unit—resulting in a clean and straightforward installation.The audio quality is incredible—it's a complete upgrade from the ineffective built-in microphone that came with my head unit. Now, my calls are crystal clear, even at high speeds, and I no longer have to repeat myself.If you're fed up with poor audio quality, this microphone is the upgrade you need. this works OK it works much better than microphone that came with a stereo, but the sound quality is still not there. You still sound like you’re going in and out of a tunnel unless you get right on top of the microphone

I got this to replace the one that came with my android car stereo, because of the thousands of "great" reviews stating that the poor sound, echo and noise will go away and it will be perfect and people will hear you clearly without any distortion.Well this did not fix any of the mentioned issues it was just as bad as before no improvement whatsoever, so even though it is cheap do not waste your money .
