Good grinder for the price.
Great price. Love the design over junk Dewalt that it replaced. Hope it lasts. PC is reported to be of lesser quality since Stanley BD bought them. Love the mini rat tail design.

Update
This is an update from a previous review…..After using the grinder for a few weeks I wanted to point out what I consider a safety issue worth noting. The trigger also incorporates a continuous operation button that is slightly recessed. I’ve have had several situations where this button will not disengage as designed. I believe dust is the culprit. One solution I am currently trying is use silicone spray on the trigger assembly. Of course I allow this spray to dry before plugging it back in. This machine has a lot of torque for its size, and it will jump around even if the disc side is facing up….I’m talking, no hands on the unit, plugging it in while the continuous on switch is engaged. This can happen if you are having problems with the continuous on switch and forget about it, then plug the unit back in. Bottom line….Do not assume the unit is off if you are have problems with this trigger…..before plugging in. This can also be a problem if you are using the continuous on switch and you need to shut it down quickly. I believe the problem is the continuous on button has such tight tolerances that it takes very little dust to jam it up.

Great Little Grinder
Does a nice job. Seems to be well made & works really well. Has plenty of power & controls are set up well. I’ve made a couple of hundred cuts with it on 1/8” & 1/4”thick Aluminum & it handles it with no problem. Would give it a good recommendation!

Heavy but worth it
This is my first angle grinder, so I've really nothing to compare it to. However, I love that the on/off switch is activated by pressure, so if you let go, it shuts off. I'm not sure why one reviewer said it was dangerous. I can't imagine a switch any safer. It does take the tool a few seconds to slow down and stop, so once you let go, it does have a about 7-8 seconds before it comes to a complete stop, which could be a problem if snags a piece of clothing or body part. But no tool could stop immediately, so.I've used this on hard wood such as walnut and oak and it does a great job with sanding discs and curved flip discs. It is heavy, but again, I imagine that lends a level of safety. I often have to stop and take a rest when I'm doing some heavy wood removal, but it's a power horse for what I need.I have had some issue with it burning wood occassionally, but that may be the super hard wood or...operator error. As I said I'm new to the angle grinder. If anyone has any input or it burning wood, please reply.
