Apple MD826 / MD826ZMA Lightning to HDMI Adaptor

Small yet does the job quickly, paired with a HD TV and if you stream via your cell this is a winner! Have NFL TV on your phone but not on your cable or satellite TV, this is a winning combo. Easy to carry, great also when traveling away from home and don't have to be a TV hostage to what the TV is playing. I gave it to my Brother-In-Law who is in the US Army and he loved it! Buying another one for me, wherever my phone goes so does this! Paired with a Long HDMI Cable your phone becomes easily accessible and a remote control of sorts (wired of course like old school remotes for those who remember) still good in a pinch. Also used it to show the huge picture gallery I had on the Big screen TV to the family and stream family videos, made for a good family night. I received nothing from the company, just happy when I get my moneys worth and more.

I had a 3rd party adapter that stopped working for streaming services Netflix and Prime, and after reading a number of reviews learned that "only the official Apple product" would now work for streaming. The 3rd party devices would work for Youtube, and not much else, which was also my experience. So reluctantly I spent the $45 for the Apple device, and yes it worked great immediately out of the box, no problem. Then out of curiosity, I tried my old 3rd party device, just to see the error messages again for streaming and TO MY SURPRISE it now worked too! Weird. My only guess is that the Apple device somehow unlocks a protocol to allow streaming that the clone device can then pick up.

This worked well for the intended purpose of displaying my iPhone screen and audio to a larger monitor. I did have to download an accessory patch as soon as I connected the HDMI cable, but that was automatically detected and I was routed to the link. The installation went smoothly and it has been working reasonably well since with various streamers. Unit does not get overly warm while operating. There are other less-expensive devices which achieve the same function, but after trying one, I had security concerns due to some alerts popping up while in use.

This is a refurbished Apple product, not a copy so yes it is previously used. Also be aware that this adapter only works with certain versions of Apple software so do you due diligence and check Apple’s website before you buy. I own an iPhone 13 and iPad, both have latest Apple software, both are fully compatible with the adapter. I’ve tested both phone and pad with Netflix, prime video, Hulu, YouTube tv etc and had no issue streaming to my 4k tv. Be aware that output video is 1080p. I didn’t have ans picture quality issues or sound issues. Again, check you software version before buying.

The power receptacle seems not robust, will have to see. We connected it to a HDMI automatic switch and it powers the switch, also the video no longer stutters like it did when streaming video through the Apple TV. Great Video quality and with a charger connected it charged the phone but not the Apple iPod Air. May need to put in a 2A charger rather than the 1A. At first I connected it to the end of a 6ft HDMI cable and it worked great, but thought the lightning cable might get stressed and break. So I connected a short HDMI cable and put it to the Samsung DVD HDMI input, then added a 13ft lightning extender cable from Cellularize. It works intermittently this way and did not charge the iPhone consistently, not the adapters fault. I like this idea as it will protect the adapter from my son using it. If the extender fails, I just have to replace the extender cable at a lower cost. Also it gets it away from the TV. So I'm going to try again with a 6ft lightning extender cable in hopes that there will not be as big a voltage / signal drop across the length of the cable.

Used the adapter to connect my phone to my projector. Worked great and allowed me to stream movies from different apps. The combination of its small size plus being plug and play made it perfect for my needs. The price is higher then the off brands but I heard the others wouldn’t let you stream video from popular apps.

I bought this adapter to hook my iPhone 6 to my TV. When I plugged the adapter to my HDTV and IPhone the screen on my TV switched immediately to the screen on my phone. The TV does need to be in HDTV mode for the screen to show what is playing on your phone. The picture is not as clear as what my TV usually displays without the adapter but that could also be due to the not so perfect internet connection that I have when streaming movies. The picture was much clearer when it displayed the home screen of my phone which leads me to believe that the slightly unclear picture I was expierencing during the movie was my internet and not the adapter. I have used this adapter a couple of times and have not had any problems with the screen freezing up once. I am glad this purchased this adapter and am thinking about buying a second.

Works as advertised. Little pricey but well worth it. I purchased this so I could watch movies on "the big screen." I buy/rent movies on my iPhone through iTunes and then use this HDMI connector to connect to my RIF 6 cube projector, which then mirrors whatever is on my iPhone/iPad and watch the movie (or whatever) on my wall/ ceiling. Since I don't own a television this thing is highly appreciated by me and my family when we all want to watch something together and not off a tiny screen. So yeah, this HDMI connector works great and its very useful for my needs... And certainly beats buying a large flat screen tv. I should mention that although I have only used it for the purpose mentioned above, I am sure it works well with many other HDMI compatible products as well.

Nada qué agregar ni nada qué instalar. Simplemente lo conecto a la entrada lightning del iPhone / iPad y le conecto el cable HDMI e inmediatamente se visualiza todo directamente en mi pantalla de 42 pulgadas con calidad excelente.

como digo perfecto original funciona perfecto , lo utilizo para el ipad y conectarlo a un proyector para ver las peliculas
