If punk and post punk is your genre - you MUST own a copy of this book........!
The author's story is a fascinating one, the book is mainly focused around the artwork (posters and single/album covers) which we used to take for granted back then, but yearn for now..... The usual favorites are in there - Clash PiL Damned etc, and some of the more obscure bands too. On a personal note, the inclusion of Killing Joke, and the thought provoking work of Malicious Damage Records founder member Mike Coles - is just excellent, and the story of how the posters came into being.... I just can't wait for volume 2 to come out, its a fascinating topic, and it brings back so many memories of yesteryear......

great books rubbish packaging
The books were just great, just what I was expecting greatthe packaging resulted in one of the books being damaged because they were placed one on top of the other with nothing in between so the books rubbed together and one damaged the otherotherwise all good

Superb collection of images
I’ve not read the text yet but honestly the images alone are worth every penny.Lovely crisp and clear reproductions that took me back to my childhood and my obsession with punk/post punk music (primarily British). From the velvets to the smiths, and most in between, everything the discerning indie lover needs together in one beautiful collection on their bookshelf.Buy it! At its current price it’s a steal!

Best punk graphics collection yet.
There are actually quite a few of these collections of punk graphics about, but I think this is the best one yet, as it goes across the entire spectrum of the era, from prepunk - NY Dolls, VU, etc - through anarcho-punk, goth, and all the other scenes that came under the punk umbrella, to post-punk, together with a lot of interesting interviews and opinion pieces. Recommended.

Wonderful. Bought this on spec and WAY exceeded my expectations. A wonderful representation and worth every penny. Brought floods of memories back from my youth around the punk scene around 1977. But it.

This book is effin’ awesome!
As a graphic design student this book is full of inspiration. I am thrilled to have added it to the book collection. The level of attention to detail is incredible. I feel like it’s an incredible privilege to learn about the artists and designers and the work that fuelled the visual imagery of the early punk rock era. This book is effin’ awesome. Do yourself a favour and buy a copy of it.

Terrific Book!
This book is well written, fun to read, and is mostly gorgeous designs of posters, flyers, buttons, etc. tracing the history, design, fashion, favorite bands and stories of the punk rock movement in the USA, Great Britain and beyond. Fun to read cover to cover, or just to keep on your coffee table.

A Great Book Full of Record Covers, Posters, Flyers and Other Artwork
As the headline says, this substantial coffee-table sized book is full of artwork from the punk rock scene. There is a mix of American and UK content and the book starts with early US artists like Iggy Pop and Patti Smith before moving into the obvious bands like the Pistols and Clash.A pretty extensive collection of artwork in a good quality edition. Worth the money if the subject is one you are interested in.

Endommagé
J'ai acheté ce livre neuf mais il est arrivé grafigné, sale et déchiré à la reliure... Je trouve que j'ai définitivement payé trop cher pour la qualité de l'item reçu.
