Hands-on Scikit-Learn for Machine Learning Applications: Data Science Fundamentals with Python 1st ed. Edition

I like this book as it is friendly and handy to beginning and intermediate level machine learning users. First several chapters contain multiple examples with standard python datasets. The book explains the coding thoroughly, the codes are well-functioning and pretty self explanatory. The latter chapters dig in and improve the results in multiple ways which I believe it really escalate my understanding in data optimizations.

The book covers fundamentals of machine learning in the context of data science using simple terms and easy to understand language. This is a great read for anyone who is new to machine learning but wants to get a quick view and feel for how various machine learning models work. The step by step instruction for the coding examples (using Scikit-Learn) is clear and easy to follow. This is the second book from David Paper that I used to help guide my machine learning journey.

The book is filled with long code snips but without explanations on either codes or models. Each part is very similar and filled with repetitive words like "copy and execute... you should see....". Definitely I can say the author pays no diligence to this book. Don't waste your time and money on this book.

This book is fantastic for those who want applicable ways to learn machine learning. David Paper does a phenomenal job of leveraging accessible data sets, while still structuring the algorithms in a way that you can use them in industry or research. Scikit-learn is becoming very popular and the time that you spend in this book will be priceless. Great work! Huge thanks to the Author and the Apress staff for producing products such as this!

This book is amazing! It has clear instructions and step by step directions to learn machine learning. I would 100% recommend this book to anyone that wants to start learning machine learning.
