took a trip to New Zealand and at a the wildlife conservation area this is what they recommended as we searched at night for the elusive Kiwi birds and we found them and they weren't too concerned as we watched them eat. You need these to check out nighttime wildlife because they aren't as startled by the red lights as they are the bright white lights. No cameras were allowed. They served their purpose well.

I used these for land navigation at night. I was able to see very well with these flashlights. My partner had a different brand and we were not able to see as well with theirs. It is also very durable and It’s compact size allowed it to fit perfectly in any OCP pocket.

These flashlights are overall great! We used them while doing night photography. They help our eyes see the night sky better. We have used them twice before one started to flicker occasionally like they do in horror movies. I still recommend these.

I am glad that I took a chance with these. I had read some reviews about them being cheaply made. Maybe I just got lucky or maybe those reviewers were just unlucky. The quality of these seems excellent. Well machined aluminum bodies, substantial lenses. Standard batteries that I provided fit well. I have not used them long enough to assess the battery life but I see no reason to think that would be substandard. I do recommend.

My husband and I each keep one of these flashlights on our bedside table so we can get to the bathroom and back, or wake up on early wintry mornings, and not wake each other up. They also keep us from being woken up too much by bright light ourselves. We use them every night!
