Great, durable cables that move well
Mine came with black heat-shrink around the connectors instead of the white in the picture. I actually prefer the black, so that was more than fine with me. The cables release their coil easily, lie flat and move naturally. They are a bit thicker than many, which would imply (without checking) somewhat lower capacitance. Regardless, they sound great for my bass - although it would take a lot of capacitance to mess up the active bass drive into a high impedance! Gold-plated connectors with well-applied heat-shrink for stress relief makes me believe that these will be pretty durable. I prefer these rubber-coated cables over the braided cables. They seem just as durable, but the braided cables don't release their coil shape as easily and they get caught on things and don't "snake" around the floor as naturally. These cables just move well, coil easily but don't hold their coil shape.

Great cables
These cables last a long time. Nothing lasts forever, however, these cables are stage battled and are use with a very active & energetic touring rock band every week. Two years or more of service come with these cables. However, if you're not jumping and running around a stage every week yanking these cables on everything in your way, perhaps they will last you a lifetime. I'm overly excited that they last over two years with what they are put through, and to that I give them 5 stars.. as most others would get through a couple of months or less. And yes, this is a real review.

Inexpensive, Durable, and a Very Good Value
Several years ago I was in a music store and purchased my first Pig Hog "Tour Grade" instrument cable. The store owner mentioned that while they were made in Asia, they are of a better quality than I would have imagined. He was right! This cable has a very thick, 8mm, pliable covering that survives abuse without failure. It's virtually tangle free too. I suspect that there are cables that are more efficient at carrying a signal from an instrument to an amplifier, direct input box, etc., but those high end cables are considerably more expensive. For studio use that may be a the most important feature. At this price point, I had never found a cable I was so glad I purchased. It's great for the average gigging musician. If a friend borrows it and it doesn't find it's way back home, no biggie!

WOW!
These cables are really nice. Heavy, heavy, heavy!!!! I have not felt an instrument cable this heavy since the days of making our own cables for our studio. The soldered connections are sealed in heat shrink tubing and the actual connectors themselves are solid and fit tight into their connections. The price for two of these 18 foot cables is remarkable and if you can find a better cable for the same money or cheaper, let me know! Even if you don't like the cable you could still use it to pull an ATV out of a mud hole!!! Jk!

Started to short, with intermittent cutting out.
I rarely played amplified so the cable received little use and no abuse. Unfortunately, it began to short out today, nearly 11 months after my purchase. The cable itself is supple, bends easily and is wider than most. With the jack covered with shrink-like rubber tubing, I'll have to trim it off or cut it and resolder to fix it. Edit: Customer Support is sending me out a new cable following a warranty submission, which upgraded my evaluation to 4 star.

Some like spending two or three times more I guess?
I don't understand for the life of me why anyone would willingly spend two, three, and in some cases four times more--and for just one cord! These people make a great cable--not for the price--PERIOD... Then when you think about all the money you saved; the sound coming from your amp sounds even better...

RESISTENTE
Estos cables van a durar mucho tiempo, la calidad del plástico es buena al igual que la de los plus. Esta marca hace productos para que duren mucho tiempo. Volveré a comprar más productos para guitarra.
