Dipoxy-2K-700 is a premium, solvent-free, low-viscosity epoxy resin and hardener system mixed at a precise 2:1 weight ratio. Designed for professional-grade applications including jewellery, river tables, aquariums, and composite repairs, it cures to a crystal-clear, UV-resistant finish. Its self-venting formula minimizes heat buildup during curing, ensuring safe and flawless results every time.

## Description

Dipoxy-2K-700 is a crystal-clear, low-viscosity epoxy resin and is produced and distributed exclusively in premium quality. Dipoxy is ideal for almost any application. For example: in the jewellery sector, table manufacturing, for river tables for floors, ponds, aquarium and terrarium construction, as well as for boat, ship and aircraft construction. Moulded parts can also be cast in silicone moulds or carbon, aramid and fibreglass connections. Also ideal for model making. - The solvent-free Dipoxy-2K-700 is mixed at a mixing ratio of 2:1 (e.g. 100g A and 50g B) mass units (according to weight) and can therefore be processed easily. Ideally, components A and B are mixed at a temperature of 10°C - 20°C. Although Dipoxy-2K-700 is generally self-venting, for best results, ensure it is stirred at a maximum of 250 - 350 rpm for approx. 4 - 5 minutes until both components are well mixed. Warning: Risk of burning! As soon as both components are mixed, a chemical reaction occurs in which heat is released. Depending on how high the mixture is in a glass or bucket, the heat may not be dissipated quickly enough through the surface. So the rule: "better wide and flat than high and narrow!" always applies. For example, with a mixture with 300 ml in a cup approx. 15 cm high, it is likely (depending on the outside temperature) that after 15 - 25 minutes it will get so hot that you could burn yourself and then it hardens immediately. However, if you fill the same mixture in a bucket and it is only 1 cm high, it will not get hot and you can probably use it easily after 60 minutes.

Yes, you can use epoxy for this purpose, but we do not recommend placing objects having a temperature of more than 80-90 degrees.
The rough rule is:1kg = 1mm per 1m².

**Q: How do i stop glitter/gems from sinking to bottom when making resin items??**
A: Hey! First you need to put a thin layer of resin down first, leave to cure and then add whatever glitter/gems you want. Leave that to cure and add a thin layer of resin over the top.

**Q: is it food safe? for chopping board?**
A: Epoxy is not harmful to everyday items. Coasters and cutting boards can be made. However, we do not recommend making epoxy utensils (such as plates and cups) for prolonged contact with food.

I bought this to fill in gaps I had in the wood outlining my chimney, it started to crack and google recommended this as a solution. The mixing is easy, as instructed. Make sure you lay something down as this is sticky and if you have carpet or wood it will glisten afterwords. Would recommend. My wood is no longer cracking and since its clear, the gaps dont look filled in, looks so natural
