Nairns Fine Mill Oatcakes, 218 g

Delicious remind me of home Nairn’s Scottish oatcakes.

I really enjoyed these. Imagine a savory cookie. Not even slightly sweet. Strong toasted oat flavor. Also very dry, almost bone dry, on the palette. That might not sound good but it is really outstanding when pairing it with a variety of items like cheese and fruit, or my favorite, dark chocolate. The dry texture and savory flavor makes a delicious counterbalance in that regard. Highest recommendation for an elegant and special party tray.

These are the real thing, high end Scottish oatcakes. They are not sweet, like much of what you get in USA. They are imported from Scotland, however, and super pricy. Still, if you want a real Burns night, then get real oatcakes.

I was looking for a different kind of cracker and found this one. I read the reviews and ordered these and they are so good! A healthy snack too. I'll be ordering again.

DELICIOUS. I was worried that they might taste very dry like cardboard but it doesn't. It almost tastes like a crust for cheesecake (minus the sugar).

Live the taste, consistency and nutrition this oatcake offers. Have bought multiple times!

Not much texture. These are fine milled but that took the "nutty" flavor from the cracker. Goes well with nut butter or spreads.

Très bon produit, mais c'est dommage que ce ne soit plus le paquet de 250 g. Il y a moins de biscuits par paquet et ils sont maintenant plus chers.

These are lovely. Fresh,crisp and tasty on their own or with cheese.

Sehr leckere Oatcales - zart und mürbe, wie sie sein sollen! Ein Genuss mit Salzbutter, Blue Stilton, aber auch mit Marmelade.

Diese Cakes schmecken sehr lecker und sind köstlich zum Wein. Leider erhält man sie hier in Deutschland nicht und haben somit eine lange Lieferzeit!

I've a wheat allergy that comes and goes - so I like eating the crackers and biscuits from the Nairn range, also because of their high quality and variation. These thinner crackers are crisp, light and flavoursome with any desired topping - butter, soft cheese, salmon paste, peanut butter, chocolate spread etc. You just have to be cautious spreading them as they crack easily. The other crackers or oat cakes are thicker inc. the cheese flavour, fruit ones, and original. All of the Nairn range is easily portable, with their portions wrapped in individual bags, so simple to take into work, college, picnics as part of a packed lunch. The price is a little high but I still find them good value for money.
