very heavy, issues with brakes and training wheels
Overall, this is a pretty good quality bike. Looks good and has some good features for the price range. It's easy to put together as well, especially if this is your first time. Besides that, this bike has some issues that requires someone with extensive experience to fix.First, the brakes are a mess. They are completely misaligned. There are instruction on how to adjust them, but good luck! I spent over an hour following them and trying to align and tweak them with no luck. At this point, I am stuck in a dilemma on whether or not I should return this bike or spend additional $60-$90 dollars having a local bike shop adjust and fix the brakes.Second, the training wheels are not aligned. They stay off the ground almost 1"-2". So, when you ride the bike, you are either leaning to the left or right. Very annoying. Not a comfortable balanced ride.Third, it's very heavy. And I mean well over 25 lbs. That's almost the weight of an adult bike. My 4-yr old is having a hard time riding this bike.Again, overall, it's a good bike but with all these issues, not sure it's worth it. Especially with the brakes. The issue with the training wheels and weight is not that critical, but when you get bike and the brakes are completely misaligned, it's disappointing. You have to spend more money to get it to work properly, which the seller/manufacturer should have done in the first place. It's made in China, so I guess it's expected. The amount of time and additional money spent to get this bike to work properly, I could have spent that much money an gotten a name brand bike that was built and tested to work.

Love the color but poor quality for the price!
I really wanted to like this because our almost 6 yrs old loved the color. Over all the main frame is pretty solid and I really loved the black rims with the red and white. After taking all the wrapping off and starting to assemble, I notice scratches under the bike and couple other spots. I then notice one break pad was broken but the second I touch it, it fell off. I then noticed another one having a piece come off of it. I ordered pads and couldn’t find anything to fit the little spot. And for some reason it keep rubbing against the rim. I tried to adjust all the settings and noticed the rim was bent a little; therefore, it wouldn’t sit right and would spin properly. I think this was either returned, or damaged some how but it wasn’t going to work. This bike was a lot more than average Walmart bike so I expected a really solid kids bike but yet again another cheap Made in China garbage. I know my expectations are higher than other reviewers because no one else really gave it a bad review unless I was really unlucky and got a lemon!

Heavy Weight Champion
Nice looking bike, comfortable seat, easy to assemble but my three year old grandson, third bike, second peddle bike, had big problems. He rode great on his last peddle bike so I knew it was not him. When I lifted the bike after he fell over stopping I realized the bike is an extremely heavy steel bike, my bad. He told us he did not want to ride the bike anymore. Seller does not tell you, for good reason, but the shipping weight is 30 lbs. the box can’t weight more than 5 pounds so it is at least 25+ pounds, too heavy for the little guy. Try to find a heavier 14” bicycle. Sent bike back, found more appropriate 16 lb. bike that cost a little more, money well spent. Reminder to self, get what you pay for and a little boys safety is as priceless as the child..

Heavy, questionable quality
I wanted to like this bike. My kid has been using a balance bike and is ready to make the jump to a real bike. His balance bike has a rear brake which he is used to and this is one of the few 14” models with one. It showed up and looked awesome. The first thing I noticed is that it weighed a ton. My fault for not reading the description. I went to put it together and the holes in the stem for the handlebar stripped out with very little force. I called dynacraft for a replacement stem and they informed me it was backordered and would be up to 90 days for a replacement. Back to amazon you go.

Good bike, take to lbs for set up
This is a good bike, welds are nice and metal parts are solid and we'll fabricated. Tires and grips are good quality, pads and seat are excellent. The training wheel system is well designed and indepentant of the drive wheel. Making installing and removing training wheels a breeze. On to the bad. The pedals are absolute garbage, hard brakes are a joke. Just there for show. Expect to replace these pedals right out of the box, the hand brakes will need different pads as the included ones are more of a suggestion of what a pad might look like. If you are not handy with a spanner and know your way around bike repair expect to bring this into a LBS to be set up. I was a bike repairman for many years and have been building bikes my whole life. This bike took me 3 hours of tinkering to get it set up. That is where you save money on a bike like this. The parts are for the most part quality, but there is no time put into set up and assembly. I'm happy with the bike but there is no way this bike is safe after a claimed 5 min set up.
