Awesome book, we enjoy it ourselves and have our grandchildren drawing , too

I really love Mark Kistler's teaching books, unfortunately this particular one is just surfing on the success of the series.It is a PRACTICE book, which means most pages are blank space for you to practice the tiny examples showcased in the corners of the pages.You can do this on blank paper, and this book is almost useless.So get Drawing in 3-D with Mark Kistler the source book or any other books from Mark Kistler which are great, but pass on this one.

It is a great book . It is better to use it with Drawing in 3D by the same author. Those books complete one another. I have a lot of fun using it and teaching it to my children.Mark Kistler's Drawing in 3-D Wack Workbook: The Companion Sketchbook to Drawing in 3-D with Mark Kistler

only thing that book need to be sold with drawing in 3d .Because in the book there a lot of reference toward that last book

I noticed my grandson was doing lots of fabulous drawings, but he hadn't learned to use 3D perspective. I noticed that he and his friends were using workbooks to learn to draw all kinds of characters, but the dragons and robot men were never depicted in 3D. He was fantasizing one day about drawing for Stephen Spielberg, and I told him he might want to learn to use perspective in his drawings first.I gave him this book for his birthday in March of this year, he didn't show much interest then, but now I'm seeing his sketches and drawings in a completely different light......its December now and, he has begun to incorporate a 3 dimensional aspect, his work is wonderful !!I asked his mother how these new drawings came to be, and she assured me it was the books that I had given him.
