TuneBand for iPod Nano 7th Generation / 8th Generation (Model A1446, 16 GB), Premium Sports Armband with Two Straps and Two Screen Protectors, Black

A good running armband is hard to find and this is one of the best that I have come across. The band is comfortable and does not slip while running. Easy to get your ipod in and out and the buttons on your ipod are easy to access when placed in the armband. It's a nice size -- some armbands are way too big and bulky -- and the adjustable strap allows for a comfortable fit on your arm. Super fast delivery service was another plus! The one I purchased was all black but a variety of colors would be nice. All in all, a great purchase and the best armband I have ever purchased!

This review is a little longer than normal as I try to explain my situation with the 7th generation ipod and case/armband. I bought the 7th generation ipod and another case/arm band at best buy. approx. 1 month or so ago. After using the ipod for my daily running only a couple of times, I discovered that the headphones I was using where the jack meets the aluminum of the ipod, was wearing it away. Also the arm band, from a different company, the velcro was beginning to come off. So, I exchanged the ipod and at Best Buy, ordered this product for the exchanged 7th generation ipod. I returned arm band which was a belkin product. So, my Tuneband arrives, and this thing is awesome. All the controls are easy to use with cutouts for the plugs, covers for the volume, etc. The TuneBand case and arm band fit amazing, but unfortunately, I had to return the ipod. The headphone jack area started to wear away the aluminum again, and I tried 2 other headphone's this time, including the included earbuds. My friend offered me use of her 5th generation ipod, I had been using a 2nd generation ipod that I owned for 10 yrs. Also, the armband/case I used for these 10 yrs was I believe from Grantwood. So, I called Grantwood Technologies and told them what happened. That I returned the 7th generation ipod and would be using the 5th generation ipod for awhile, until I decide on the the ipod touch as a running device. They told me no problem and promptly sent out a case/arm band for the 5th generation ipod for free. I told them how do I get the other product back to them. The guy told me just drop in the mail and send it back. That's it. So, this is the product and company to go with. whichever ipod you are using.

Like several others, I have tried many different armbands for my new iPod 7th gen. Most of the other products were uncomfortable (too tight) on my normal sized arms. The product ships with the default, medium sized arm band and the included instructions indicate that Tuneband will gladly ship a larger (or smaller) band to you for free if yours does not fit right. The included rubber case and the screen protector makes this product a deal you shouldnt pass up. I have worn this to the gym 5 or 6 times now and have comepletely forgot that I had it on my arm. The band stretches well yet maintains its position on my arm. The openings at the bottom make it hassle free to connect/disconnect the headphones with the iPod on your arm. This helps when you are routing the headphone cables under your shirt. A word of caution, the screen protector is a little tricky to put on. Make sure to follow the provided instructions. I did not and as a result I do not have a screen protector on my iPod now. I'm certain that had I followed the instructions I would not have made the error that I did. Overall I am very happy with the product. Shipped on time with all the advertised items. I do like the thank you card with coupons they sent. It's a nice touch and will certainly factor in to my future purchases. Way to be a good company and produce a quality product at a reasonable price Tuneband!

I chose the grantwood armband because it was the only one I found that had a neoprene sleeve, open and easy access to ports and, because I drop everything, decent reviews about the arm band. So far all of these things have been proven true and I am satisfied. The armband isn't very long but it has stretch and fits around my upper arm without much of an issue. I wonder how it would hold up on my upper arm during exercise but since I tend to wear my arm bands around my forearm, I'll never find out. . The screen protection is lacking. It came with a two part clear sticker to apply to the screen. To minimize finger prints on the clear sticker, there is a red sticker on protector 1 and a black sticker on protector 2 so that they can be handled easily. This is great for application. The problem is with removing the stickers. They don't come off easily at all, leaving behind a white strip and residue that take some time to remove.

I think this is a good product, but the screen protector that came with it left much to be desired. I followed the instructions exactly, yet trying to peel the sticker off the front wasn't happening without leaving a residue. By the time I got it on with all the residue off, there were tons of air bubbles and dust under the screen protector. So I had to take it off. To reiterate, the case and the armband are great and functional. The screen protector was not. Edit: I am changing my score from a 3 to a 4 because the manufacturer has excellent customer service and I feel that they have resolved all of my issues. Despite that, I still think there are a few small things about the product that prevent me from giving it a 5. The main thing is that the case interferes when I try to plug it in on the dock, because the dock wants the bottom to be completely flat and level with the ipod and the middle part is a little bit too fat for it. Not a big issue since I just remove the case if I want to use the dock, but its there. The second annoyance that annoyed me was the arm band. It is a good armband, but I feel like it is too cumbersome to put on the armband and remove it. I felt it could have been alleviated by simply having a clip on the back of the case that hooks onto a part of the armband. Regardless of these issues, I am not disappointed with the product.

I had a Tuneband for an Itouch previous to this purchase, so I knew what I was getting. What I didn't expect was 2 armbands to ensure that no matter what, the product would fit, without the need for return. Screen protector was one of the easiest and best I've used for any of my Apple products. The case for the Nano fits perfectly, all functions on the Nano easily work with the case, no fighting or overcompensating. You can charge with cover the on. Armband fits perfect and no slipping or sliding of the case on the armband even at a full on running pace. If you work out at the gym, run or cycle it will be a perfect compliment to keep your tunes flowing freely, with easy change up. This my 3rd or 4th purchase with Grantwood Technology and I won't hesitate in buying from them again, in fact I now seek them out. Quality products combined with REAL customer oriented service. Its all about the details. Products are easy to use made with durable, comfortable, visually appealing materials, continuous communication from the time of order placement, confirmations, complete instructions with no fear return policies and recognition of your patronage. If there's a mix up or problem, they bend over backwards to make sure you're satisfied. Another great Grantwood experience.

I've gone through practically every sports armband made for the iPod Nano 7th Generation, and all of them have design faults that to me, were totally unacceptable. The other armbands I have tried either had ridiculously designed cases (with access holes in the back of the case rather than the bottom, where the Nano access ports are located)or came with very short, or non-stretchable, armbands. I'm not a gym rat; I don't have massive biceps, but using most of the armbands from competitive products I have tried had a regrettable tendency to cut off circulation, and could not be worn over a running jacket. Before I found the Grantwood product, I was forced to create a hybrid armband, using the case from one manufacturer, and the armband from another (which was actually designed for the 6th generation Nano). Soon after I started using this hybrid armband, I came upon the Grantwood product, ordered one, and found it to be without doubt the best sports armband on the market. Period. The case holds the Nano firmly and perfectly, with access holes in the right place (the bottom of the case, which aligns with the headphone jack and the charging port), and the armband is both sufficiently long to fit comfortably, and is stretchable. It is exactly what I have been looking for. As a matter of fact, I am writing this review just after I ordered my second armband, simply to have a spare should something happen to my original. Pros: Rubberized case with access holes correctly placed, and holds the Nano perfectly. Armband is stretchable, and long enough to fit the average male bicep comfortably, even when wearing a jacket. Cons: Doesn't have a key holder, if that is something that is important to you. I would definitely recommend this armband. Once again, I went through almost 10 armbands before finding the Grantwood, and in my opinion, there is no real comparison; it's the best on the market.

This is the second armband I have used for my nano (lost the other one) and I am very happy with this one. While the band itself isn't SUPER high end, there are two of them in small and large included which work well enough. I'm a big girl so the large is good for wrapping around my upper arm and the small is good for wrapping around my forearm. I hope this helps a reader! The money shot is the nano case itself and the attention to every detail this company has put into initial customer service. The case does not have a protective screen but screen protectors are included which made me very happy and gives me the choice. The case fits perfectly and all ports are easily accessible while buttons are easily responsive. I also appreciated the extra touches of an e mail regarding my order directly from the seller and a thank you card included in my purchase providing all directions and contact information if I was unhappy with their product.
