While shopping for this item I reviewed it and the reviews here thoroughly. I was looking for exactly this, a portable and foldable gun rack for outdoor but mainly indoor use. After reading the reviews I was somewhat hesitant to buy it but it was everything I was looking for at the best price so I took a chance due to the low financial risk. I also understand some bad reviews come from frustrated folks who have problems with tools, instructions, assembly, patience and even comman since. Everything including delivery was excellent. There was no damage and if there were any small scratches, dings whatever, I could not see them. Besides, this is basicall a "work bench" tool to be used. Also the finish is incredbile and the materials very sturdy. The color looks excellent and especially with my black rifles that I like to bring out when I am entertaining company! But this gunrack! I am sure the company would be happy to help with assembly if needed or to send replacements for any broken parts. I could not be happier with a purchase than I was with this one! I purchased 2 stands. They are well made, pretty stable, fairly easy to assemble and the price is right. My only real complaint is that the bottom plate where the butt pads rest are level with the ground instead of square with the barrel rest. this causes the firearm to rest on the tip of the butt pad and where they are unstably. This is pretty easy to fix by adding some foam to the base plate to improve the stability.The other issue I see is that the materials are a little scratches and scarred. I'm guessing they will be much worse after a trip or 2 to the range.My conclusion - I don't think I could build anything as nice for what I paid, especially if you factor in time. I would absolutely recommend this stand but suggest you add a piece of foam to the front edge of the base plate to help stabilize the firearms in the rack.

Very nice design. Not hard to assemble. First thing to do is to give the assembly tools to your kid and use some real ones. The Rack is sturdy even though it is made of fake wood. It folds up nicely and takes little room. I use mine to store shotguns and cleaning rods when cleaning. I will probably buy another to put in the back of my UTV Rhino to carry guns when shooting Sporting Clays. May have to do some minor changes with partitions where the gun butts sit and with some bungee ties to hold guns in place while moving. Good Buy and looks nice. Wish it was built in the USA.

My husband and I were extremely surprised at how nice this is! It is very sturdy/well built and actually very eye appealing. Compact to slide into the closet or backseat. Easy to set up and take down. Highly recommend.

Okay, maybe it is a US based company but this unit is made in China. It is also the cheapest material of any piece of furniture I have ever purchased. It is a kind of plastic coated fiberboard. It also came scratched up in the box which makes it look even worse. It is a good thing that it is foldable so that I can hide it when it is not being used. When it is assembled it is fairly sturdy and I do not doubt that it will hold 10 guns, it just looks awful doing it. I wish this company would have a little more pride in their product and make it out of some nicer material. And perhaps bring manufacturing back to the US as it does not seem like a very difficult product to manufacture. I would easily pay double for a made in the US product that was made using real wood and nicer hardware. I would likely not recommend this to a friend and am regretting my decision now that it is assembled.

After reading mixed reviews I went with this rack because it's the cheapest priced one for the size. It's for my son who has a number of wooden toy guns as well as air soft & bb guns. I just wanted something to get the guns out of the toy box & to hold his first real 22 rifle he's getting for xmas. The rack I received was far better than I expected. It looks like natural logs cut and painted with a clear finish. The top bar that goes across has a visible cracked but it in no way diminishes the look or stability of the rack. It looks like all the other log furniture you see out there & even comes with a detailed explanation of why log furniture cracks that way. The rack looks great on the wall & the guns fit well. I'll be ordering another one as this one only holds 3 guns. It came with all the hardware needed to hang on the wall. The holes for hanging are 16" apart & directions say to attach to studs. I have a country home with natural pine trim throughout the house so this rack matches wonderfully. If your looking for rustic you'll be happy with this. If you want something modern or fancy this is not for you! I've been shopping for a gun rack for a while & found this to be a great choice for the price!
