Everon Lip Balm, Soin Des Levres - 0.17 Oz, White

My lips dry and crack even in warmer months and after trying every kind of lip balm over the years I was so glad to find Weleda Everon lip balm! I have now used it for over 10 years and I am so glad they continue to make it! I love it because it is not heavy or waxy but it stays on, especially overnight, and continues to work. It both prevents drying and cracking and helps heal any cracking I might have. It has a lovely light smell that does not bother my many allergies. A stick lasts a long time too. The one significant down side is that it does soften up a lot in warmer temperatures so you need to be very careful to only expose a bit of it when using or you risk breaking the stick. Also, it's best to store any backup in the fridge for future use. But this is a small price to pay for the best lip balm out there, very reasonably priced at about $7 a stick. I highly recommend this!

Soft and subtle rose and beeswax scent. Loved it upon first whiff! The balm glides easily with enough wax that makes it last long. Feels like the perfect amount of creaminess on the lips and leaves a pearl shine. Not to shiny, not to matte. I love it more than my eos stick which I found too creamy and strong of scent. This weleda one feels perfect for what I like.

Update: The review below was based on my receipt of what I'd surmise was a singular bad tube of Everon. My family has bought two more since, and they are the awesome, long-lasting, subtly-scented/almost non-scented product we've enjoyed for the last 15ish years. I've been the typical lip-balm addict since being a teen in the 70s/80s (everything from metal-tube Blistex and Carmex jars to Euro brands like L'Occitane and La Roche-Posay), and this product is the best overall balm I've used. Prior review: I've been using this product for over 10 years. This new formulation is so soft (even in cold weather) that you can't put it on like a normal stick without destroying its shape, or having a huge blob rub off onto your lips. Those of you who've used it before will recall that the prior incarnation was the opposite: firmer/more solid than other typical lip-balm sticks. However, it does still moisturize well, and seems to last as long as the old version. Plan on using your finger or a brush to apply this new formulation - I'm questioning if the hassle is worth it.

I’ve been using this for about a month after using Burt’s Bee’s for over a decade. Burt’s Bees started to burn my lips, so I needed to switch. I have always had badly chapped lips that are always peeling. This was a much gentler alternative to everything else. It feels really good on my lips and lasts 3-5 hours before I have to reapply (keep in mind it’s often 30-15° F where I live right now, so the air is extra dry.) It doesn’t have a medicinal taste like Carmex and actually tastes and smells like vanilla and honey. It smells so amazing that sometimes I want to eat it lol My lips do still peel but I think it’s improved. Overall, they FEEL better. I get the best results when I apply Everon and layer regular Vaseline on top every morning and night Also, just a little bonus chunk, my poor Everon chapstick has survived being thrown in the washing machine TWICE. It still works perfectly and didn’t get damaged but unfortunately it doesn’t smell as great. That’s completely my fault

I know other people have done reviews saying this balm is ridiculously soft so I took note of that and turn it up only very slightly so I have enough to apply a little bit and that's it otherwise it would definitely break or be smushed. I checked the packaging bc I had heard some Weleda products can be fake(?) but from what I researched it is the real thing. The balm itself is AMAZING and I only wear lip balm (Nuxe/Herbacin/Dr. Hauschka/Caudalie/Avene) so I've definitely tried a lot. This is probably the best feel and the most moisturizing, on par w the Nuxe honey lip balm in a jar but with COVID I don't want to carry around balm I have to use with my finger so this is great. I can see this becoming my new go to lip balm for everything.

I've been having a hard time finding my favorite lip balm, John Masters Lip Calm, lately. I'm a long time fav of Weleda's products, so decided to try their Everon lip balm. First and foremost, it's dry as a bone. It just shoves your lip around, as there is no slip to it whatsoever. Grab one of those old candles from the back of the china cabinet. Same effect. Secondly, it's a bit smelly for a lip balm, which is a shame as lips live directly beneath nostrils. I've given it a few days to see if maybe it needs "breaking in" but no. It's awful. Just a smelly hunk of dry wax with zero moisturizing properties.

This lip balm is amazing, period. I've been using lip balm pretty much nonstop for two decades and have tried seriously everything--from Chapstick to Dior--and this is my favorite. Nice light smell, no freaky ingredients (looking at you, Dior, and also La Mer, and basically all you "fancy" over-fragranced balms!), and best of all, moisturizes like nobody's business. When I wake up in the morning it's gone, but my lips still feel hydrated--not greasy. It's pleasantly balmy, not greasy, when you first put it on, too. I'd describe it as similar to the feel of the original blue Chapstick (non-medicated vanilla scent), but a little creamier/softer, and much much nicer-smelling and tasting. (Scent is mostly just like a pure beeswax balm, but with a light hint of rose.) I bite my lips, I wear matte and longlast lipsticks/stains, I lick them a lot so they're always drying out, and (gross) sometimes they flake and I have to resist the urge to pull or bite off the flakes. Gross. That never happens when I have this stuff on hand. Give it a couple days and even the most messed up lips will be fixed, I'd stake money on it. If you like applying lip balm three trillion times a day, you don't need this. But if you want to apply just a few times a day (or just once at night) and just get on with your lovely-lipped life, then this is HG. Note that I bought from PROPER (REAL) AMAZON, not a third party seller. Maybe the complaints of fake items are coming from that. Please be careful when you're hitting "buy" and check the seller so you're sure.

I had originally given this 5 stars. However, now I've bought a second tube of it, and I got a different type of lip balm. The original (the one with red writing in the pictures) was amazing! I could put it on and didn't need anything else for hours. It also has no discernable smell or flavor really, which is nice; it doesn't even taste like "chapstick" or anything. However, when I got the second tube, the consistency is MUCH softer, so that when I tried to put it on it immediately smashed back into the tube. It's so soft it ought to be in a tin, at best, and not in a stick at all. I was going to take one star off for that, because I have to be super careful putting it on or risk it going everywhere. But since I've used it a bit I've noticed...the formula is not the same, either. I am having to put this on as much as any other lip balm; it doesn't have the same staying power as the original. Not sure what the deal is but I'm a bit wary of buying any more, for fear of receiving a knockoff or something. All in all I would definitely recommend the "real" Weleda Everon, it's fantastic, but not sure how to guarantee getting the correct formula.

De tous les sticks que j'ai pu essayer, celui-ci est de très loin mon préféré. La texture est lisse et souple, sans laisser de fini collant ou coloré sur les lèvres. Il offre une hydratation maximale, nul besoin d'en mettre toute la journée (sauf peut-être en plein hiver), j'en mets simplement le soir et parfois le matin, et mes lèvres restent souples et hydratées avec une sensation de confort inégalée. Que dire de l'odeur de ce stick, un doux mélange de cire d'abeilles et de fleurs, un parfum très naturel, que j'aime absolument. Il est rare de trouver un produit avec une composition aussi parfaite et autant de qualités, alors je le recommande vraiment sans hésiter.

Davvero un ottimo prodotto che continuo a ricomprare. Il prezzo leggermente più alto rispetto ad altre alternative è giustificato al 100% dal risultato e dalla consistenza che non trovo in nessun altro prodotto, anche di prezzo molto superiore. Curativo e ricco, non appesantisce minimamente le labbra e non dà il tremendo senso di “untume” che si presenta invece con la maggior parte dei simili. La sua consistenza, permette anche una durata superiore del prodotto.
